Hey Yoda! I'm a big fan of yours from South Korea. I'd like to suggest using "Holy Bulwark" during the pulling process instead of before the dungeon starts. Currently, you use Holy Bulwark before starting the key to get an early buff. However, by the time you start dealing damage properly, the buff has almost disappeared due to the 10-second countdown. There's a random proc of Holy Armaments that occurs once between 0-48 seconds, but it's completely random-you could get it early or late. I keep Bulwark state before starting the dungeon and use Bulwark once during the mob pulling process. This way, you can maintain both the Weapon(proc from Wing) and the Bulwark simultaneously. The random Armament should be Bulwark (the first proc), so you could potentially have the buff up to 40 seconds maximum. I understand your reluctance to use GCDs, given your team members' high damage output. However, from the clips I've seen, it looks like that the first pull is crucial for both your teammate’s damage and survivability. I just wanted to share this thought with you.
@@noname2kk If I'm not mistaken, he made a video on the armaments usage not so long ago where he explains his tought process, Idk If you have seen that one. From what I understand he's constantly trying to fish for the weapow armament in pulls to sinc with wings.
he uses it before dungeon starts so that it switches to sacred weapon, which he saves untill the free proc has 6 seconds left during wings to extend it.
I had this problem too. Assuming you're doing the very basic things right (standing in consecrate, not turning back to mobs), there are lots of trash tank hits. You have to learn what they are, track them with a timer, and use mitigation each time, e.g. bone claw in necrotic wake, soul cleave in mists. In a +10 on my 629 ilvl ppal, if I don't properly mitigate the soul cleavers in the first pull of mists, I can die. Tracking absorb shields can also be helpful, often don't need to press a button for a tank hit if you have a big absorb. Yoda has a lot of commentated runs on his channel that I found super helpful. @@asdf198 Im sorry but you should be absolutely be able to live the first pull with pretty much ardent defender and wings only (+cheat) at the ilvl. Also in higher keys you can't wait for tank busters to be casted, with high density pulls you absolutely have to rotate CDs from the start
@@roli124 Ardent's only up for first round of soul cleaves, maybe you play with pumpers but I usually see 3 rounds of 3x soul split in pugs, that "1-shots" without a CD up (obviously it's 3 separate hits). Avenging wrath doesn't do anything against 3 soul cleaves going off at the same time. With just AC+Wings you may be dead on the second round of soul splits if you don't have 100% spell block, that's why I said I *CAN DIE*. The 3x souls plits will do ~8m damage if you don't spell block & only have consecrate+wings up, you're taking 60% increased damage after that 3rd soul split, if melee swing timers are unlucky you're potentially taking a ton of melees @ 60% increased damage with ~1m health left. Also, I said NOT to wait for tank busters to be casted, you should be tracking them to plan defensives.
Love you yoda , but i hate how the 0.1% title rating Get so inflated due to the fact the top teams only push 24/7 and dont do anything Else . Retail aspect of community is gone .. im a Damn good player but i dont got 2636 hours to push keys non stop . And just cuz this your fucking job apperently u do Get it

Because he's rotating his defensives and he's on top of things, he's also playing prot pally perfectly.
