I think that in other music shows they weren't given the opportunity to actually play their instruments live, if you compare the sound you will notice that the instruments are much more highlighted here. And this might be the reason why they look happier here.

I'm glad they won Best New Male Artist and Best Band Performance and they really deserve it with those Performances they are my fave this year since Debut they're grown so much and I'll see what they journey Next Year 🥰
THEY'RE INCREDIBLE OH MY GOD!!!!! I love hearing this song live, it's even better than the recording!! You can hear the guitar at the end so clearly i lOVE IT!! And their vocals and performance are on a whole other level, as always!! So proud of my boys :')

xh on k909 is by far their best music show perf in this era. it just hits so much different than any other music shows they’ve attended. it feels soo alive, most likely bcs of the live instrument. not sure if it’s the keyboard/guitar sounds but the prechorus part here somehow sounds more grand(?) than the usual i love it sm😭🤍 and as always i’m so very much in love how their energy, vocal, stage presence of them NEVER once misses, each of them are so much more confident & comfortable with their elements. joohan interaction & nuggetz going closer to the fans at the end are soooo heartfluttering 😩💖
Maybe because it’s not a music show, but they looked more relaxed and like they were having more fun for this stage, I also think they genuinely enjoy more having a big crowd and that’s why they performed so well 🥲💗 Jooyeon and Junhan being all cute behind Gaon was my absolute favorite part 🥺

Finally we got not only amazing live vocals but also live instruments. This is hands down the best stage for hair cut because I can appreaciate not only their vocals but also instruments, it sounds soooo good. Also they look extra energetic and happy here. I can tell they're happy to finally play their instruments and to meet so many Villains in one place. Gaon's smile is everything, he looks so adorable with that tail omg. Thank you cameraman:)

I know it's normal and obvious since they're villains but I just love how the crowd seem to rlly adore them, the screams, the fanchant and how they're looking with smiley eyes, I feel like the heroes are not very known in Korea so seeing more and more kvillains makes me happy, XH deserve everything
You can really see them starting to lose that initial nervousness and now they are really getting a kick out of performing, especially hearing the fan chants. This is what all your hard work is for boys! Enjoy it because we enjoy watching you and cheering you on =) FIghting!!
