    Do I just attach the Everify to the I9?

    As employers, are we able to confirm employee's credentials, photo matching, etc? We have about 12 accounts to verify and about 8 are Green Card holders. New at this and to be honest, we are not up to date with this i9 and everify proceedings.

    Is this new procedures and compliance for new hires only? Should a employer require a new I9 for a 20+ year working employee?

      For new hires only, unless the existing employee doesn't have an I9 on file. If you have employees for whom you are missing a Form I-9, have them complete a Form I-9 now on the current form. When completing the hire date in Section 2, use the original hire date. When dating the I-9 next to the signature, use the current date. Do not backdate. It is better to have an I-9 that was completed late than not to have one at all. :)
      If the employee was hired before Nov 1986 you do not need a Form I-9.

    The last HR girl did not keep up with the i9 and they are a mess should I just redo them all

    This form is soooo complicated I lost the job in the last min because i did it wrong, I download State ID and social security (valid only for work)
    And they said this social security is restricted!!!!! U need unrestricted social , I dont have one IAm a resident that’s all I have.
