Thanks for doing all these vids. I don't know if I'll ever try to paint my own car, but watching someone who doesn't try to hide imperfections, but shows us that they happen, and how to deal with them, helps me know that I don't have to get it 100% perfect or else. As a mechanic or painter, I'm not a bad woodworker, but I'm slowly learning how to work on my car. Who knows where that will take me?
Incredible paint man. That flake just shines like diamonds. This is why we come to this channel. Anything less than perfection is unacceptable. Damn fine job man. Much respect to your hard work.
there is no such thing as perfection, especially to someone who does this work for a living, they notice every single little nuance, What i learned from an older gentermen is that perfection is in hand of the beholder, so as long as its perfect to the customer thats what really matters, but to your self the worker if you expect perfection, you will drive your self mad, because it DOES NOT EXIST. . , you have to set a realistic exception of what your quality level is to be, and hold your self to it, side note i tint windows for a livin and while in many ways different many of the same principles apply, prep work, cleanliness and technique is everything!!!!!!!!!!
Killer work, but even better explanation of the whole process. We're in a Era were people don't wanna pay for services that are time consuming. Painting a car right ✅ is a big job and the guys doing killer work like yourself deserve every penny and then some!!!
Always love watching your Videos. Never really liked a lot of the (to me) loud and obnoxious colors with the my little pony glitter. There is no denying your skill and perfectionism. I try to use my minds eye to imagine what it really looks like without the glitter, but still beautiful work. My man listening to Journey though....rock on man
Wow! You've done it again. You are a true artist! I wish I could meet you and just shake your hand. I can tell you are a good man! You don't cut corners and you always show your mistakes and how to correct them. Most people don't show there mistakes. You are a class act! Have a good one.
Thank you for the content. Must say it looks fantastic! When I got a good look and those fantastic stripes,I got a mini flashback of the original "Batmobile". Really good stuff!
I have said it before......but you do some truly amazing work my friend!! It looks so completely insane...great job!!! I love the colors on it as well!!
I came across your videos a couple months ago..just screwing around looking about dashboards…I can see where you may have a few haters that are pro’s with a pro shop..but you’ve got real talent…I actually brag on you and what you do..some impressive work for a backyard paint shop..🤗🤗

your skill in your career shows a degree of long term determination and patience that few in life can wrap there head arround , i tint windows for a living which also requires a whole lot of prep work, patience and determination but what you do is a order magnitudes greater than that tinting.. .. in a weird way im kind of jealous, maybe i should been a painter instead lol. . awesome work man, keep it up!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You can certainly be proud of your paint jobs. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. I'm surprised you don't use PPS 2 cup system. Reduce drips and easier clean up. You should also try to filter your incoming air. You do put a lot of work into your paint jobs.
I really enjoy your channel. You are very good at what you do, and you are a very good teacher. Could you let us all know, ballpark how many hours this whole process takes, and what a customer would expect to pay for a high quality body restoration like this? Thanks again for you and your channel.
Wow this car looked so complicated to paint from the start tho the finish that I should call you a paint 🎨doctor for old rusty cars. All I can say is this paint job most of took you days to complete and your average person could never afford a paint job this good. This was show car quality paint. I would guess this paint job would cost over $12k if you had to pay for this paint job yourself. Love it!! KEEP UP THE UNBELIEVABLE PAINT JOBS💯
I dont know when i enjoyed watching something as much as i did this, ...watching you spray was fun,..you do it right ! ....I am LOVING that color combo,...glad i found your channel,....thanx from NC
Wow dude look at that how beautiful what a fantastic job ,your attention to detail is a credit to you it also shows a very honest man to show a few flaws along the way and how to correct them . Well done bro car looks friggin awesome 👌👍
SprayWay I work in the oil industry (chemicals) the amount of cars you do with the chemicals I would suggest you "always" wear gloves when wiping the cars due to the chemicals able to go through your skin into your blood one day causing you health reasons. Keep up the good work Bro!
Lots of work...I lost 20lbs my first time ever painting a car. I sanded my Dodge Magnum by hand, never used a rotary! I sanded the car three times! I took me two months just sanding for prep. I sanded every coat that had imperfection before applying the next coat. After I was done I watch SprayWay and saw all the short cuts I missed and time saving and pound saving..lol I was told by a shop that I did the work of a professional shop. I told them I was only trying to do better then Maaco!..lol
I remember painting a seventy Chevelle, last coat, the damn cup fell off my binks right onto the hood, I damn near cried. If I’m not mistaken the dent from me throwing that cup gun is still in the wall at the place I apprenticed at. Beautiful job my friend, you are a master.
I have watched all your videos regarding this Monte Carlo and you have chattered my dreams on what I thought was a good painter in my head, you have AMAZING TALENT and wish you all the luck on your next build. P.s. I won't be quiting my day job anytime soon.
Awesome job…I see a lot of people asking how much and how many hours. I would bid this job at my shop @ 30k and hope the customer wouldn’t bite on it. It sounds expensive but after materials and months of labor there’s not much meat on the bone. Spraying candy is pretty much like painting a car 3 times…plus all your jambs take the same process. Keep doing your thing SprayWay.
True attention to detail . You are a master at your craft. I came across your videos and I feel like you can explain each process step by step for entry level people (like myself) to understand. From base coat; color coat, clear coat, flow coat and orange peel. How to correct stages of imperfection with what materials needed and how to use them . THANK YOU please keep doing what you do I truly cannot wait to invest in the kits need for candy paint . My 93 chevy silverado 1500 is something I would like to transform into showroom qualities like your rides after watching your videos . God Bless from Central Valley California

Thanks man...I do it all the time. As long as you got at least three coats of clear on it and it has sat for awhile and harden up you'll be fine without cutting through fast.
Sprayway you got that MC sparkling like a fresh cut diamond. Man you laid that paint job out and them stripes are popping. You always put down perfect paint job my man you definitely deserve the crown to auto body & paint .everyone else is just practicing. They can't hold a candle to what you do. I sure hope that your customers appreciate the work that you do and pay you what it's worth to do it. I just painted my truck in my garage ...it came out pretty good but it needs some cutting and buffing. I laid down 3 coats of clear with the intention of cutting and buffing. I got some trash in the hood but I cut off all the nibs with some 800 and 1500 and I think it's gonna be fine. Factory like orange peel is acceptable to me but while I'm at it I may as well cut and buff the whole thing. I just wanted say That I'm following your method of cutting and buffing to get my truck. This is a hobby for me but I want that thing to look straight and shiny. It's a big truck, 05 f350 dually ext cab, painted in base coat /clear coat black. It's been a lot of work to bring it this far. Every body does things a little bit different but Your results are killer man. I've got a HF rotary and I just bought the Griots G9 and the small G8 kit just for this project. I'm pobably gonna use the rotary for compounding the large areas and the the G9 and g8 for the smaller areas. Then polish everything with the G9 and G8. How do you like the DA type buffers vs. the rotary?
I can't get enough of watching this guy work. Such talent. I will be flow coating my first car this winter in my garage and I really want to pick your brain. Is it OK if I email you with some questions? Keep up the phenomenal work sir.
