The first 5 seconds of this review should have been my reaction on the mornings of Christmas '97, '98, and '99 when I got the movies Batman & Robin, Godzilla (1998), and WIld WIld West on VHS.
Some info about a couple of actors in this film. Kevin Lloyd, who played the photographer, is probably best known in the UK as Tosh Lines in the police drama series The Bill. Alan Lake, who played the murderer, had an interesting career: among his many roles, he appears with British porn star Mary Millington in two films - Playbirds and Confessions from the David Galaxy Affair. He also appeared in the 1979 Doctor Who story Underworld. Both actors are sadly no longer with us.
I still remember this review, and remember telling my dad about it, and its production history. He had trouble believing that I understood everything correctly.
The good ol' times before I met the channel, where the Snob's audio would come only from one side on the earphones and the reviewed movie's audio would come only from the other one. Good luck watching them with only one working side working on the phones.
5:30 "This movie is about as mysterious as the alphabet." 9:20 oooh... imagine a movie with _that_ plot line, but the detective brother gets fired before solving the case. Does that mean that killer brother just shrugs his shoulders and stops killing?
You forgot one other thing for this film: LACK OF CEREMONY! “A slasher movie without ceremony is like a romance film without a kiss. Santa after Santa is killed. However, we don't know who they are, we don't care, and suspense doesn't fit anywhere is this poorly constructed equation. The murders themselves are not doted on and lack any imagination whatsoever.” - mwold, IMDb.
I was speaking more along the lines of " so-bad-it's-good " variety of nuttiness in my comment about Christmas Evil, whereas Black Christmas is a creepy masterpiece, which I just rewatched in a Cinema earlier today.

I might actually prefer old snob, he was a little less comedic and a little more angry. Which makes me feel guilty, because I wonder if some of that was real anger over shit in his life, and I am happy he's remarried and hopefully more peaceful. Also, upload Nudist Colony of the Dead; you still reference it, and I think your newer fans are confused.
I think I agree. Here, Snob is just talking about the movie and getting frustrated with how bad it is. Ever since he lost the weight, it's like he's taken on the persona of Cinema Snob and has a fake whiny voice. It's kind of like BATMAN BEGINS, where Chris Bale only talks gruff when he's angry, as opposed to DARK KNIGHT where he talks like "gargling marbles" Batman even to people who know who he is.

Every B to Z movie is instantly watchable if Caroline is in it❤️.
Death of Santa would be the title if it had an alternate title in the US.
One of the funnier, more disjointed Christmastime slashers out there, but for me, nothing will ever top the ending of Christmas Evil.
Black Christmas (1974) will always be the best Christmas horror film for me.

This movie is very bad, but also is very entertaining. I hope someone will remake it in the future fixing all bad and clunky parts.
