It is a bit bass heavy headphone, but you can adjust that through the app. mids and trebles are crisp. I am not an audiophile and cannot provide comprehensive answer, but for listening music and phone calls sound quality is excellent for its price. It supports high quality audio codecs, which is great plus too.
Semi-audiophile here. Grew up with quality equipment, can't afford new audiophile stuff(these were a strain on my budget 3 years ago, but still money well spent) Sound out of the box was impressive, They work well with my $100 barely smartphone when on the go. App allows even more sound fine tuning. Apartment dweller, nighttime cabled to vintage equipment sounds excellent too.

Performs great years later, build quality is excellent, it is comfortable to wear for long period of time. Prices vary as of today.
