Babymetal are without a doubt the most amazing band I have ever heard, I have been to many concerts in my 50 years including old school metal like Pantera, Sepultura, Slayer, Metallica and the list goes on. None of them come even close to how amazing a Babymetal live performance would be.
I seriously spend 10 hours a day driving for work and listening to nothing but babymetal. I just wish I could have seen them Live.
Yuibot is pure perfection here. It is one of her best performance, just like the choreography was built to demonstrate Yuibot's skills.
I love how they mix ska in with the metal for this one and the Kami Band intro took a lot of people by surprise as they hadn't done that before with this song. That was mikio Fujioka (RIP), Takayoshi Ohmura, BOH on bass and Hideki Aoyama on drums.

That's Mikio Fujioka-sama solo the first one playing and the one I told you passed away at the beginning of 2018. R.I.P. kokami.
Ska and metal had never been combined before like this as far as I know, and knowing this genre since a very long time and many others combinations, this one was perfectly done.

I love this song because I love the SKA genre. YAVA fuses SKA and Metal. Very underrated song cos, not many reactors react to this. Some in the Metal community didn't even knew that the SKA genre existed unless you listen to No Doubt and other bands that play the SKA genre such as and I can list a few but I think there are fans who know better.

YAVA! is a song from BABYMETAL's second original album, METAL RESISTANCE.

This tune was performed for the first time on 2015 Jun. 21st at Makuhari Messe, Chiba. Since then, it was tentatively called "Chigau". The Japanese title is "ヤバッ!" (= yaba!) and this word is sometimes jokingly written as "ヤヴァッ!" (= yava!).
The meaning of the lyrics is vague, obscure & ambiguous. This is the same old way of Japanese popular songs. If the singers are attractive enough, the fans can freely enjoy whatever fantasies they like with such vague lyrics. I don't think there is the true story and the lyric writer has hidden it, so I hope the listeners think freely what differs how from what.

Great Reaction! I went to see the live performance at this time, and Mr. Fujioka's guitar harmonics in the introduction were great. YuiMetal was sweating profusely, as if he was not feeling well. It was the last stage for both of them, so it was a very memorable stage for me.
Let's remember YuiMetal is ok now according to the girls. Such a blessed by the Fox God soul to witness that special live concert. 🦊🤘

One of my favorites off of the 'Metal Resistance' album.
The official lyric is "ヤバッ!" (Yaba!), which is a clipped form of "yabai".
Originally, "yabai" meant "dangerous", but in this song and popular usage, it is also used as an exclamation.
"Oh no!" is a pretty good equivalent in English.
Even with a translation it's hard to know exactly what this song is about.
As Du-Metal says on his translation page, "The meaning of the lyrics is vague, obscure & ambiguous."
Written by some of the same folks involved with 'Megitsune', etc.
That concert footage is from the BIG FOX FESTIVAL (October 15th, 2017).
This was Yui's last performance with BABYMETAL, although it would be another year before she officially left the group.
I've seen fans joke that the lyrics are meant to describe how Su-metal feels when wearing opposite left and right shoes.😃😁

Yui used to kill this choreo and this was her last time she performed with BABYMETAL. And now I'm missing Yui and Mikio so much...
The song is, apparently, about being, acting and most important, being perceived as "different" in a society where not following the "normal" behavior is seen as weird (in a bad way).
I put YAVA (translated as something like OMG) together with Awadama Fever as I think they are both about difference and not necessarily being confined by other people's expectations. The YAVA lyrics mention "different" over 20 times. Is it about Babymetal and their music being different, Moa and Yui being different even though people seem to think they are twins or just about clothes?...who knows? What it is, is some up tempo metal/ska with a poppy hook, some great choreography, an Kami Band intro that takes it to the next level, a really heavy breakdown and an increasingly insistent and manic ending...ie classic BM.

@@salesiocaritas8400 おっしゃる通りだと思います。詩はそこかしこに転がっているとおもいますが、言葉の表面を引っ掻くだけの、感性が磨滅した私にはもうなかなか見えてきません。そういえば、「お品書き」は詩よりも詩である、ってこと言ってた詩人がいました（唐突に以前のコメントを思い出したもので。でもあまりここでは関係ありませんでしたね）。

"Kingslayer" actually got live version from last BMTH UK live tour but all of them are fancams and of course without physical SuMetal performing, only her background voice, is cool thou if you wanna enjoy that moment on your own spare time.
