The Emblems-Red Cross, Red Crescent and Red Crystal

Since 1863, The Emblems of Humanity can be found in the humanitarian relief in natural disaster and armed conflict. With the international recognition, and adopted by International Humanitarian Law, these emblems signify protection and considered as neutral in armed conflicts. The emblems of humanity developed along with the expansion of the Movement, from Red Cross to Red Crescent and Red Crystal, to ensure these emblems protect all people in need from different nations and diverse background.
