The scary thing is that McDavid is still on the upswing. His 150 points this season are not just a personal best, but it is also the most ever in one season by any NHL player whose name is not "Wayne Gretzky", "Mario Lemieux", or "Steve Yzerman".

@@dannycarlow8204 ​ @QuarisDoma , Nicholls and Esposito both hit 150 points, but his comment was correct. McDavid had 153 points, Esposito had 152, and Nicholls had 150, so McDavid's 153 is the most by someone not named Gretzky, Lemieux, or Yzerman.

He's played for 8 seasons. A player like that should be there already. Averaging 125 points per season should not be too much to ask from the best player in the game today.
