Beautiful and Peaceful! I get so involved watching that I feel as if I'm there too.... Looks like a canoe got stuck and left there towards the end of your video. I kinda like that. Nice for a movie.
Monty's was thee place for drug smugglers to go in the 80's. Times are very different, but seeing the Starbucks logo right under The Monty's is so friggin odd! The Grove area in general used to be a hippie commune, and very bohemian area. Bed Races, Midnight Movies, Stewart Copeland had a club there in the late 80's/early 90's.... just very different times. Now it's more commercial retail every other block.
Coconut Grove is a beautiful place! Luckily I visited there once a few years ago. Nice tour and it looks just like I remember it. By the way, have you watched the Netflix series called Bloodline? I highly recommend it if not and it takes place not too far from you in the Keys. The producers said that they treated the scenery as a character in the show. It's excellent. Cheers.
