Why the obsession with calories; makes me uncomfortable. Besides that, fun and informative video

I actually don’t count calories at all when I eat😄 but I thought it’s important to let the audience know. When I used to workout and train seriously, I did pay more attention to that so I thought some of the viewers may need that information.

Thinking about moving to Austin from NYC but I had no idea of the “Asian situation” and was worried I won’t end up happy there... It is a RELIEF to know I won’t be missing out on any of my Asian essentials! I am so happy to see a substantial selection of Asian foods, markets, and cafes to satisfy my comfort food cravings😻👍🏻 Thanks for reassuring any doubts I had girl!

I would rather go to H-mart in Diamond Bar CA than 99 Ranch in Chino Hills because 99 has arrogant cashier. They think they R above customers so they don't even baggage the scan items. U customers have to baggage it. Also after scanned items they throw out. And there attitude to customers are always in angry bird mode. One more thing if you don't speak chinese they give you bad looks. My opinion even it's more miles drive you should go to H-mart. Because they only have middle aged chinese woman as cashiers in 99 ranch Chino Hills. This is my many experience. So please don't go Chino Hills 99 ranch. You could see goggle review ratings is always low. I wouldn't know about other 99 ranch area and there service.

I have the exact trifecta of stores where I live! I didn't know 99 Ranch was a chain too. I only read English and Spanish so this was very helpful.

Does Austin Chinatown have Chinese stores that sell canned abalone? Chinese canned abalone are awesome. It can be a snack. The canned abalone are ready to eat. You just open the can, stick a fork into the abalone and chew. Canned abalone are not that big, and you can eat it whole and it is awesomely chewy. You can also sauteed the canned abalone whole or slice them up, and sauteed them with mushrooms and vegetables. The abalone served in Chinese restaurants are bigger than canned abalone, and not meant to be snacks. Canned abalone are unique upscale gourmet snacks!! I hope you can do a video on canned abalone snack in the future.

Haha next time I need to look for them. I remember seeing them in China. But I completely forgot about it. It’s been a long time 😆

@@MsMinglifestyle You says that you remember seeing them in China. In major big cities such as New York City which has 3 big Chinatowns with big Chinese restaurants that have the abalone, sea cucumbers and ginseng congee or soup entrees. Amazon and eBay sell canned abalone. The Chung Chou City brand is the best. If you have Wechat, you can purchase them from Chung Chou City. Otherwise, you call them, and place orders by phone. Chung Chou City have stores in San Francisco and New York City. The Austin Chinatown should have dried Chinese foods store that sell dried ginseng and sea cucumbers which you have to soak and cook. But the canned abalone is ready to eat, and perfect as a unique upscale gourmet snack!! So, I hope you can do a video on it in the future.

Haha yes! I think my uncle sometimes brought these and my aunt would cook them. I need to learn myself tho. I was really young and all I did was waiting at the table and enjoy the family meal 🥘😺

@@MsMinglifestyle I was born and raised in New York City. My mother cooked awesome ginseng congee and sea cucumbers which are all dried foods. So, it was a lot of work to cook them!! However, in those days when I was a kid, canned abalones was on a stick inside the can like skewers. They were smaller abalones, but still awesomely delicious. There were dried abalone, but it a lot of work to cook. So, my parents always bought the canned abalone. And we ate them as snacks since they were ready to eat. The irony is that my parents never cooked the abalone. I am 68 year old now!! Anyway, these days the abalones in can come in different sizes. Some can have 5 or 6 abalones inside. Others have 8 or 11 or 16 abalones inside. There are also one or two abalone in can too. You can sauteed them lightly with mushrooms and vegetables. They should not be overcooked. Canned abalones are just awesome snacks. I heard you mentioned in your video that you have been to the Boston and New York Chinatowns plus Chinatowns in other cities. That is awesome and you can easily get these awesome unique gourmet Chinese foods.
