Excellent! Thank you. Also, for who might wanna know, they make a blue tooth adapter for about $10 on Amazon that plugs into the jack that he soldered in. It does need a usb power supply. But then you can have a blue tooth aux.
Thank you so much! I finally have aux input in my plow truck ! I plugged in my Bluetooth receiver and it's good to go. Sounds great with the Bose system too.
This was awesome. I tried it and got it working. I had to ground it to the vehicle. The only thing is that only the right side is working. I have tried multiple cables, not multiple phones though. Channel 1 plays on both sides just fine. Any ideas what it could be? Update: guessing it's because this is a mono jack you linked to and I'm using stereo cables. This should work with the stereo version of the jack, right? Update 2: I ended having to connect both top and bottom terminals to have the audio come out both the left and right speakers. Update 3: didn’t like that setup so I removed the wire that connected them and bent the inside pins towards the middle so when the aux tip was plugged in, it made contact with the tip and that got sound out of both speakers. Hope I didn’t mess anything up. Lol!
Here from 2024 I did this on my 04 Silverado radios looks different still had XM note it worked perfectly don’t use the black and white wire sand a metal stud on behind the dash and ground it there trust me it works beautiful and I mounted mine inside the black cup thingy it looks oem and do yourself a favor and purchase a more expensive aux female adapter it’s better!
It worked perfectly fine for a long time and now I recently started to use the aux plug again it's not playing that loud. Volume turned up on my phone for the life of me I cannot figure this out other than maybe a grounding issue maybe I should take the glove box down and look at all the wiring again
@Gary E Williams II try changing the ground. If it's a terminal on the end of the wire cut it and put a new one on, and move the ground. Some time the end of the wire with the terminal get corroded over time.... If that don't work change out the auxiliary jack..
@@Change4ADollar I actually ended up coming with a cheeper and better option I got a piece that goes in the charger spot that u can connect to Bluetooth and it emits a radio and u can change what channel it’s set too aswell as the led color but thanks tho
So i did it just the way you did, grounded to the frame though. And it plays on XM channel 1, and not XM channel 0 radio I’d… so I have the preview background noise… lol
Woah that is a radio station and the first thing you want is to be able for a couple more hours of work and we have had the weekend to do in the bank to 😢our

Hola podría funcionar en un trailblazer 2002?
Not sure my friend...
I tried different grounds but It still has a background noise and it is very quiet.
Did you try a nice clean metal spot, Hit it with some sand paper, and mount it there?
Found out what it was, the aux box was cheap and not making good contact with the cable, Thank you for the tips tho. I appreciate that
