@@herpabetic It worked great and the truck is getting the best gas mileage and power it has ever gotten. I replaced the EGR as well. BOOM she’s running gooood.
Our EGR cooler on a 2010 Isuzu NRR doesn't have the 2 fill plugs on the top to bleed the air out... should we just run it for a while with a coolant funnel topped off with coolant on the radiator?? Thanks for the video.
@@CameronsCandorOriginal you're welcome and yeah, just keep a funnel on an upper level and make sure that the thermostat is cycling correctly and you should be just fine.Check thermostat housing for a leader zurk, or if there's any desserks anywhere in the line
I am considering cleaning the EGR myself, but I am a bit afraid; however, your video has increased my confidence to do it. I wish you were in California; I would go to your shop without hesitation. Thank you so much for taking the time to make the video and explaining it very clearly; I appreciate the fact that you go straight to the source and the purpose of your videos and do not waste your time or our time as viewers; thank you for teaching very well. If you have the EGR gasket kit part number, please let me know, I would appreciate it. Thank you.
@@herpabetic is a 2014 Isuzu NRR. Also; by any chance do you know of a scanner for the is Isuzu that I can purchase to perform a Force Regeneration? maybe one that you know it works for sure for the 2014 Isuzu, Amazon or eBay? Years ago I bought one but it won't let me perform a force regeneration, I really appreciate your help.
@alexandera412 ok I must have thrown away the boxes but I do have the old set of egr coolers with numbers on them..I use napa auto parts for most parts or if u call isuzu they will provide the part numbers. Have you're plate numbers and vin available to identify
@@herpabetic Thank you for all your help, my mechanic friend I did exactly the job you did, and it went well; we just had an issue with a bolt at the end of the engine where it attaches on the passenger side that broke; it took as a while a lot of drill bits to fix it; but in the end all worked out well. Thank you so much
@@张斌-n2r okay I'll see what I can do I got covid about 3 days ago not sure how long it's going to be before I feel better the last few times I caught it it lasted about a week I am very buried in work I can try to schedule something with you

Thank you so much! I have to do exactly this to mine. I’m only missing one valuable information…. The torque 😢
Yeah, I quit trying to give information can like that. Because it was a constant argument with random people i'm sorry
i have a 2009 im doing this on right now, can i use the old metal gaskets or do i need new ones and where can i find them? thanks for the vid.
Similar but I would definitely try to use new gasgets. And isuzu does sell a kit oem is usually the best for this application
Excuse me! How can I find you to do repairs? My car is exactly the same as the one you repaired in the video.
@张斌-n2r i am in the tacoma -Seattle area. Those trucks are not the easiest to work with
