To be honest what is so special about Alperen is how he adapt his play while the game . He try starting strategy and if it doesnt work he adapts and change while the game and keep attacking untill he break the defence
Alpi should have the key of our offense. Dynamic and fast. We doesn't need slow offence. Our guard are small.
For Sengun to reach all start top 40 status he going to have to become a much better 3 point shooter.
He doesn’t have to be elite but he needs to be at least average to keep the defense honest with him when they guard him. If he becomes a decent three point shooter he going to be unstoppable on offense.
I guess the second thing is just keep improving on defense we saw how he gotten better on defense under Ime. Just keep better on that so that teams wont hunt you on certain plays on defense
Udoka should give Sengun creative freedom, especially when the opponent lock our offense.

Regarding the lower volume of his flamingo shot. Sengun did a podcast with JJ redick mid season and JJ basically said it’s a really strange unconventional move. Ever since then his flamingo volume went down. Really unfortunate to see.
Regardless of Sengun's performance, I can't think of a more fun-to-watch player in the league.
The All Star game is an exhibition, and Sengun could have given people unforgettable moments even two years ago.
Alpi has a very likable personality. He and Tari are very funny.
The Flamingo and the Shotput are geniusly effective.
Flamingo is a more stable version of Nowitzki's fadeaway, and requires less energy.
The shotput is so quick that its undefendable.

Since I have seen your posts and know you a little, I have to admire your enthusiasm. There are a lot of mouths to feed to keep the Rockets happy so I don't see the scoring numbers happening. I would like to see the assists rise to 7 or more. If Alpi was putting up numbers like this in the Turkish league, maybe I would expect this too. I think Sabonis had 25 triple doubles last year. He will have to have that many for a chance to be an All Star.

Assists went down because we couldn't shoot. Jalen couldnt hit a catch n shoot to save his life. Only one shooting well was Fred, and they weren't leaving him

For Alpi to be an All Star the Rockets have to have a better record than the Kings and Sengun's numbers need to be closer to what Sabonis is doing. Alpi needs to learn how to play the pick and roll defense. If he has the presence of mind on offense to know where the open player is, he should be able to be aware of where the roller is on defense.
Better pick and roll defense is all Alpi needs to do. He can stay the same on all his other numbers and we will be fine. If the Rockets are going to improve as a team they need the other players to step up. Alpi is closer to his ceiling than the others.

Sengun at 4 unlocks his full potential and different aspects you have mentioned in this cast for his game, including defence. Adams at 5 supporting Sengun and the rest of the Rockets unlocks more of their potential as well.

Yep and starting Adams at 5 and Sengun at 4 means the Rockets get all of the massive benefits Adams brings, as well as the huge upside a selfless player like Adams brings in making the players around him better as well! Steven needs to start(maybe not initially to ease him in to the season coming back from injury) because he is that good and does so much for any Team he plays on!!! Sitting him on the bench does not help your Team be the best that can be!!!
@@eyestamihana2114memphis ran this setup and jaren jackson delivered on the def end with 6 blocks per game. But jaren looked intimidated on offense. The starters only played 50ish minutes together in 2 seasons because of injuries. But when they did they got over 26+/- avg for the starting 5 in one game and broke the nba record for points deficit. other games they played they broke many franchise and nba records (eg highest 3rd quarter scores or top 3 etc) every single game (thats why ja was saying "we fine in the west", then injuries and guns destroyed it all). I honestly thought i was watching a superteam. Every game was like they were playing children, if no injuries they would have easily won 73+ games.
Tldr: sengun is a better jaren jackson. And stevo made jaren, bane and ja way better players.
