    @mob5613 2 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    Hey Broxah. Congrats on the 100k, honestly you really deserve it. I watched through this whole thing.
    First off, thanks for doing this kind of video, it's really appreciated by viewers like me who watch you for educational purposes. You're one of the few youtubers who teaches viewers.
    Continuing on that though, I do have some feedback and thoughts that maybe you could take into consideration
    If you were to do more videos like this in the future, I think it might just be more valuable having JUST you explaining what the player is doing wrong and what his/her alternative routes or actions should have been. Although it was interesting to hear your friend discuss his thoughts with you, I felt at times it was a lot of you guys going back and forth.
    I think for me, it would be much easier to learn and grasp major concepts easier if you were to simply state: "he shouldn't have been here because x, y, z" That way, I could learn your overall thought process rather than very small situational decisions.
    Hope that makes sense. Thanks again for the content.

    • @h3r0shy64
      @h3r0shy64 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I rly liked the discussion with his friend :) The video takes much longer then but i can learn more and get a deeper understanding where my mistake in thinking is.
      there are many vids who focus on major concepts but i rly like the discussion of the wrong ideas of a lower elo jgler
      cause we do the same mistakes aswell.. and you can see your own mistakes much easier cause you have the same thinking in these situations

    • @mob5613
      @mob5613 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@h3r0shy64 that's a good point, I agree that is definitely valuable, I guess we just have different thought processes !

    • @notice9218
      @notice9218 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's a teaching style thing, this level of detail doesn't work for every student or level of play. What he's doing here is walking them through their thought process, looking for more global issues than just one particular play. If you criticize each moment individually, and not walk through the reason why the student ended up in that position, the takeaway is just that moment, rather than the wider process that lead to that outcome. As the coaching session progresses, we come back over and over again to this student's tendency to take high risk plays, that with more consideration or awareness aren't typically worth it. That broad issue is likely why he can't climb and has plateaued, even though these plays may sometimes work out for him in other games. The simpler version might seem more immediately impactful, but to change the trajectory of this player's development, Broxah needs to understand why he did what he did, and adjust those preconceptions in the student's logic. Also, allowing the student to explain their decision-making makes them feel more a part of the session, making it a two-way conversion, rather than just a lecture. He could certainly make a simpler guide for jungling in general that would also be useful in different ways! This is tailored directly to this player's needs.
      Students often just want the answers to the test, but for true understanding, the broader process is more important than the particular outcome in a specific moment.

    First of all congrats on the 100k!
    I love the fact that you did a coaching and want to put more focus on the educative style. Especially since you always make an effort for it during streams!
    What I love the most is the way you keep the conversation going, exchange perspectives and listen to Mr Curling Pølsen instead of 'just saying what's right.'
    Some feedback might be that obviously a coaching is very detailed and slow-paced so it's not as captivating to watch and requires a lot of time compared to normal videos.
    Also: I've been studying Agurin's Kha'Zix a lot through the recent months and he would probably run Conqueror, Gore Drinker + Frozen Heart in this game (considering enemied full ad and Kha's ult+Goredrinker survivability). What do you think about this option?
    Edit: For context I'm currently in upper Diamond, if that makes any difference

    Mr. Broxah! I literally never comment on TH-cam videos but I just want to say thanks so much for all the awesome content. Every season since S3 I only ever play for a few weeks because my mental gets in the way of my growth and improvement. I've always played bot lane but found myself stagnating due to finding ADC extremely punishing and support just not that fun. I decided to pick up league again a few weeks back and decided to try and learn jungle and it's been the most fun I've had in the game for a long time. Your positivity and educational content has really helped me keep my cool and strive to improve for the first time I really think I'm seeing the game in a different way. Thanks so much for all the content!

    I really enjoyed this. I am impatient generally and i would have preferred a more TLDR sort of critique on each decision, but tbh i really appreciated each point spoken out in detail as it also gave alot of insight into the amount of thinking high elo players use, and what sort of things to think about. It would be nice if you could add somewhere in the video (or in separate one) a generic formula to simplify the decisions at each stage.
    Eg 1. loading screen- which lanes are volatile (ignites melee vs melee, champ specific matchup) and decide route based on that.
    2. First minute- how to think out invades and position correctly.
    Not sure how easy that would be but i think it would give a good foundation to thinking through the game and it would make the more specific coaching videos richer and the decisions would be appreciated much deeper. Thanks!

    This is one of the best jungle coaching sessions I've seen. The only thing I recommend is time-stamping each point. This guy kind of missed something important, Zombie ward gives you adaptive force for each zombie ward you have up, plus a permanent bonus after 10 wards...So not only does it give you better map coverage, but it also still gives you a combat advantage that's very close to eye-ball's if you're clearing a lot of wards. The real question is, why Eye-ball Collection over Sudden Impact?

    A lot of good info that can help us lower elo junglers. I think more coaching sessions might get repetitive as the major points you’re making are going to be similar and breaking down specific situations game to game is easier to learn through actually playing rather than watching someone else play. Your contents great and it’s very in depth and insightful, maybe videos focused on very difficult matchups or different types of jungle champions such as early gankers, scaling champs, tanks, etc might be an interesting approach if you do a series! Even going into detail regarding what runes/builds are effective game to game is valuable. Just my two cents, either way great videos and stream brother keep grinding

    Im for sure interested in this content :)
    i rly like that you take your time and pause often so the thought process is easy to follow and applicable :)
    if you compare it to other coaching vods you can learn much more cause of the intenstity of discussion of every play and all the variables
    im a plat 3 jgler myself and hope to make the push to diamond this season... many concepts your talking about i do understand but applying everything in the game at the perfect time is the real struggle
    im not sure if the content is for everybody but i would rly like to see more of this anyway :) keep it up mate ♥️
    congrats on 100k subscribers :D

    Keep it going. Don't worry about the length of it yet. The one's of us who are hungry for this kind of content want long videos, at least I do. It's more intimate and gives us time to digest the points being made. The videos will naturally get slightly shorter over time but I feel they should be at about 1.5 hrs per game maybe an hour for higher level play as they will have less mistakes that need deeper explanation. Cheers man. I loved it.

    It probably feels like this video went too long but I haven’t seen any pros breaking down every play to this degree. One of the main takeaways for me is to work smarter, not harder, especially when behind. I often do the same exact thing when I’m desperate, and take bad fights instead of letting go of the fact that we lost early game, we can’t be super offensive, and we need to play good defense to farm efficiently and safely from behind.

    Broxah you are a legend and jungle inspiration. Climbed to D1 so far, hoping to make it to challenger. BUT, besides that, your music is phenomenal. Do you have a playlist link that you could send me with the songs that were playing in the background in this video? Would really appreciate it
