- With the release of The Mandalorian Season 3 Trailer, I figured it was time to air my grievances with The Mandalorian as a series.
I'm not saying that it's bad, just that The Mandalorian does a lot of things very poorly, and for some reason it just sort of gets a pass... I'm okay if people hate me for this video, but I gotta say it.
I completely agree and I've never in my life seen such an overrated series. No weight, no complexity, no story apart from side quests, no stakes & no character development whatsoever.
What if Season 3 ends up being Din Djarin’s “Swan Song” of a season with the season finale setting up Bo-Katan as the show’s newest protagonist?

Season One was good, Season Two was alright. Season Three is complete garbage.
I feel like the third season is just so bad compared to Andor, which I loved more than most Star Wars content.
I'm gonna say some pretty unpopular stuff. I only watched season 1. Mando could've been played by a voice synthesizer just as well. The whole "culture" of Mandalorians being some faux-mystic interplanetary mercenary adoption service was both insane and stupid.
I HATED baby Yoda. How could a being live for 50 years and still be virtually unable to walk and completely unable to talk? But despite this, he has enough training with the Force that he can do virtually anything that any Jedi ever did (although he passes out afterwards.)
The best thing about season 1 was Cara Dune (although she was a part of 2 of the dumbest fight scenes), the worst was Nick Nolte's ughnaut whose name I forget. One thing I can say is that it's the only thing Tikka Wikka Titty has ever done where he didn't completely suck.
This is all true, still watch the show though. The reason being is that I believe that the show still has potential. The hill that Mando needs to cross is basically what u mentioned, the show NEEDS to focus on one cohesive story. If it does then it will get better.
I was telling my friend my potential complaints with Season 3. Mainly, Mando's BoBF appearance really messes up the flow, and retroactively makes the Season 2 finale worse. The sendoff of Grogu, Luke appearing, etc. was (personally) one of the best finale's of a season of almost any show. But episode 1 of season 3 has Mando and Grogu together again, and if you don't watch Boba, you would have missed huge story progression. Season 3 should have began with Mando looking for the Mandalorians, aka his first episode in Boba. Then follow him seeking forgiveness or whatever, then show him reuniting with Grogu near the end of Season 3, at the earliest. Essentially, BoBF sucked as a show, and potentially ruins a season of another show, which is unbelievable.

He has over 2 seasons of a whole lot of nothing to know it will be the same old crap.

@@LeCafeRacer you are offended by me being offended by the critic that some offended person expressed? Can't we just all agree that diversity of opinions is a good thing? I mean, not all opinions make sense to everyone, but hey, if someone truly believes in it enough to write it.....that person either is a dedicated individual with pretty "unique" tastes, or maybe other people happen to share his/her point of view......At the end of the day, let's be honest, not many people care about whatever them, you or I end up writing on youtube lol.
