I feel like this video could really benefit with some cuts here and there so the beat looks seamless and less try-and-error, but I get that is really difficult to do. Anyway it sounds very cool and looks great! Keep it up :)
Thank you for the feedback, its trial and error. But i agreed, i would need to work a litte more on the editing, as it try to record and make everyting in like 30 mn in one take.
Hey, it depends on what your are looking for. It is true that the mini lab is more suited for ableton, but a couple of firmware update later and it is doing relatively nice. If i have one complaint, the knobs are not very responsive in logic. But i would still recommend it, form, features, and the software included...i've had mine for 3-4 years now, i've spilled water on it 😅and it is still working fine so 👍
Thanks for uploading this. Rarely seen someone playing with Mini Mk3. Most people buying LaunchapdX instead of this little one. I want to buy LauncpadX just because it has velocity, but I am still not sure as the price is double the mini's price. Are you still using it?
Thank you for the comment. Yes i still use it, and i definitely recommend, i've had mine for a while now and i still enjoy it a lot. I also was considering Launchpad X but decided against it, i don't really mind the lack of velocity sensitive pad on the Mini.
@@benrabary Yeah, i check your instagram as well. I really want it. So you can still play melody or chord with it? I don't know, I still can't decide. I am just afraid that I might regret it later due to the lack of velocity. I am sure tho it won't be a problem as I can set the velocity later in the DAW. Just a bit more hassle. Keep posting. @@fianoanthonio Thank you very much, i've taken a little pause as i just got the M1 but ill upload soon. Yes it is possible to play chords with it, there is a pad and key mode, however its a little weird for me to play the chords with the pads and finger positioning. But it depends on the reason you wanna get it, for me its mostly for drums and live loop trigger, but outside of these i still recommend.
Awesome :)
Thank you 👍

@@benrabary I agree with what Vick said. The video is well shot and the beat is cool but would def look cooler if it was more seamless :) Keep it up!
Would you recommend the MPK over this for logic pro? I heard the arturia doesn't play nicely with logic. Thanks! good vid.

@@benrabary I actually already have the Arturia and noticed the knobs were funky. I’ll try to check the firmware and give remapping a shot!
@@chrisjamesies yes try to check some firmware, or ultimately you can try open the controller with a little risk and try to clean some dusts.

@@benrabary Thanks man. I have ordered a Launchpad Pro. Not a new one, the Mk3, but the old Mk2. Found a secondhand with a really cheap price. Thanks.
nice , where you find this bell sound?
Thank you, these bells were in logic, just had to put some stuffs on them.
