The right paint makes all the difference. I've painted lots of plastic models and they held to all the handling. 'Zoom... Zoom...Zoom'. It's good to see an option that doesn't require expensive purchases.
Back in the day I spray painted my ps2 slim with a bright orange splatter design and even painted a matching controller for it ahh the good old days when I took stuff apart without knowing what I was doing lol truthfully not much has changed happy teching techdweeb 🤓
Try wiping the buttons down with some isopropyl alcohol before painting. It will get all the finger oils off and make the paint stick better. You could also spray a thin coat of primer before the color coat.
Tech dweeb's shadow is human-shaped! And this was one deduction wasted. Russ from rgc had a device with small tolerances, can't remember which, that worked great with black buttons, but they stuck in a factory colored version. Which might mean absolutely nothing to you, but it may just make a device unusable. Did you see the Xiaomi screwdriver set? The basic one (no idea about the electric). It's pretty great in my opinion. For example, XB360 controller has some deep safety screws that people usually complain about - I had no issues whatsoever. Quality is nice, packaging is nice. It deserved my recommendation.
Hey, Dweeb. I found my PS Vita slim......ah. time to load it up with fan service games.....since my Switch has a busted fan. I'm gonna get other nerds to fix it for a small fee. I don't feel like accidently brick it.

"Is this good content?"
Yes, very entertained haha... looks awesome. May try something similar with my old GBA!
That turned out to be sturdier than I thought it was gonna be. Keep us updated on how well it holds up.
Watching the process of personalizing a mass-produced item to make it yours was fascinating.

I bet that looked epic

Good suggestion!
Try painting the buttons white first and then paint them with the color you want. Makes the colors look more vibrant!
Good call
Yes your videos are entertaining because of your colorful commentary and complaining about things 😄, that and your brand is very unique 👌
Thanks for saying so!
I loved it, I'll choose a color that fits with my Miyoo Mini's directional and try to do the same as you.
Good luck!
Love your channel my dude!
Appreciate it my dude.
I spray painted my pocket go , it worked out just fine
considering doing this to my dpad and face button on my psp. Just a splash of pink on the black and silver device would look good, I think

god, my life is in shambles.
Wait use the tamiya paints and top coat pls they r legendary pls u must have a hobby store near you
Being with black brings out the best in orange.
What's in the amazon shipment, we demand to know?
If the paint held up, I'd get silver paint and paint all the buttons on that LDK.
Oh man, I thought I had it all figured out with my orange, but silver... that sounds shmexy.
Any possibility of a future video on your full retro handheld collection? Any other handhelds your interested in?
you should have drank Orange soda for the video :)
Aw man. You're totally right. I missed the perfect opportunity :.(
I heard somewhere that the buttons are "backwards" due to something about how the Japanese read from right to left.
Hey Dweeb, how's it dweebin'?
8/10
ohhh like the video I always get like and dislike mixed up lol

Oh? Did your switch fan just die or did you accidentally spill rootbeer on it?
@@TechDweeb nah, it just died. RIP me...
Ever heard of the "analogue pocket"? It's runs Gameboy, GBC and GB advance cartridges...not an emulator but emulator adjacent I guess
Yup. Looks great if you have a decent physical game collection.
I don’t get it, do you paint on a base coat, and spray on an isotope? I will watch, to make sure.
what's so terrible about the Retro Mini 2"? Review it! XD
