Michigan owns Ohio State right now. It's undeniable as a neutral observer. The scary thing for Ohio State fans is that Michigan will likely be much better these next few years. They've got the top high school prospect in the entire country coming in and he happens to be a quarterback.
I woke up this morning and texted everyone I knew that I was nervous for the Buckeyes. That point spread was the last straw. I knew if OSU wasn't up by a couple touchdowns at halftime they couldn't win. Watching games from around the country tonight. I see all these teams with dynamic, running/passing quarterbacks and big, fat, tough, fast defensive linemen with a nasty edge, which OSU does not have. McCord looks pretty good now, eh?. Threw for 380 yards and led Syracuse, which trailed by 21 points, past Miami and Cam Ward, a QB who, if we woulda had him today, probably leads OSU to a couple more touchdowns today. I'm 61 and have never been more disappointed in an Ohio State team as I was today. Day has to go. Give Urban a blank check over three years. Congrats to UM. You earned it!!

Really? I'm a Michigan fan myself, but yall gotta understand the emotions and the dedication these men bring to this game. It's called "THE GAME" for a reason. As far as I'm concerned, this is just fuel for the fire the next time these teams meet.
The reason as i see it is… Ohio recruits people who cannot or have not gelled as a team. It’s a culture thing-has to be since they garnered elite talent every year. Top 5 recruiting classes don’t necessarily translate into wins every time.
pretty simple. Michigan respects OSU more than OSU respects Michigan, so they always start overconfident & arrogant and then don't know what to do when punched in the mouth. OSoftU.
the “who is gonna replace him” argument is so lazy, it’s not the fans’ job to find evaluate and hire coaches but we can all see that the ones they have in place aren’t it
Teams on paper don't win the game, players do. Nobody gave them a chance and they did enough holding OSU at home to 10 points is an outstanding defensive effort. Grant and Graham controlled the interior line enough to disrupt their running game. OSU didn't have very many rushing yards.

The moment Don Brown left Michigan and Ryan Day and Ohio State no longer knew the defensive signs for the defensive scheme that was coming on every play, Michigan started winning The Game. Look back at the years Don Brown was defensive coordinator: Ohio State came to the line of scrimmage, and looked to the sideline to get the play because they knew the defensive signs and the scheme they were facing, then changed the play to run exactly what would beat that scheme. Don Brown and the signs go away, Michigan turns the tables and starts winning...
Only reason why he won’t be gone is because that buyout. But ignoring that the only thing that can save his job is winning the national championship. How many times he gotta lose against good times when it matters and Michigan before they say enough is enough?
Nothing makes me happier knowing the outgoing seniors who have been at OSU four years are leaving without a win in this matchup!!! Oh michigan only won cause they stole signs, oh Michigan only won cause of the snow, this that and any other excuse. Hold that L for another year OSU, no one feels bad
Tate was running an out that Amir Hall picked off and returned it to the 2 yard line. Jeramiah Smith was flailing around in the end zone begging for PI calls and then pushed off to score their only TD. Bottom line is this Make Ohio State drive the field Limit big plays Limit quick strike scores Flood the field with DBs and in space Be discipline and sound These kids were prepared for the game. The 4th down Ohio State got a 5 yard run Hausmann saw the play just didn't finish it. He pointed it out before the snap.
Ryan Day is Toast and a garbage person let alone coach. The action of his team afterwards shows how much control he has and what his own players think about his leadership
I actually think his players care more than he does. I agreed with the players not letting them dog them to the nth degree. Michigan owns Ohio State right now. It's undeniable as a neutral observer. The scary thing for Ohio State fans is that Michigan will likely be much better these next few years. They've got the top high school prospect in the entire country coming in and he happens to be a quarterback.
the visiting teams that win very often plant flags- that's college football. no one fights over it, except THE **SOFT** Ohio State University!
THEE OVERRATED STATE UNIVERSITY
Nothing soft about defending one's turf. Nothing wrong with planting the flag, either, as long as they know there could be consequences.
I hate Ohio state, however, I disagree, if you plant a flag in an opposing teams field they have every right to fight
@@PoliticallyIncorrect90 whaaaaaa😂 cry baby losers
Letting someone plant a flag on your home field and do nothing about it?That would definitely be SOFT.
Kalel Mullings came to play 〽️ 4 STRAIGHT BABY!!
Also, yall owe McCord some apologies...
What Ryan Day lacks can't be taught.
Michigan is trying to teach him, we’ve been teaching the same lesson for four years now though and it’s not sinking in.
@hungrytervigon Day doesn't have that "it" factor... Tressel and Meyer did.
Respect to Davis Warren.
Yes!!!!
Ryan Day said “nobody wants to win this game more than we do…”
Not even the team that won it the last 4 years, Ryan?
Peculiar take.
I wonder what school he will land at..
Supervisor at the Charmin factory?
5 years. COVID is a big Wolverine fan.
Maybe Ryan Day should hire his brothers firm to investigate how they blew this game
Yup. Maybe his bro investigator can find out why Lyin' is missing his middle brow.
3rd base investigations is on the case haha
@@blankname6629😂😂
Michigan just flat out took it to them and were the more physical team in the trenches same old story OSU has the talent but Michigan has the heart Well played game Wolverines this Buckeye fan dons his cap to your effort .
Very impressed and much respect for your take on this--and this from a MU fan--very impressive!!!
Thx man. Longtime UM fan here, I remember many past games when both teams had that heart. Those were good games. Fandom was less toxic then too. Good luck shedding Day, even I don’t like seeing him around blaming his players for OSU’s losses.
@@hungrytervigon Have a great holiday season and thanks for your comments!
went to a football game , and A HOCKEY GAME broke out on the field ! LOVE IT !
OSU must be banned from playing in the playoffs due to their disciplinary issues and after-match attack on the Michigan players.
Little scuffles... i could care less.... the whole team attacking michigan---- osu needs to be sidelined.
And creating a overhyped scandal against their rival and Oregon
Whatever players were involved should get suspended. The ones that threw punches. The pushing and shoving is fine.
I'm drunk, and I can call plays better than that!
They don't get the o line fixed.
Never gonna run the ball.
Really? I'm a Michigan fan myself, but yall gotta understand the emotions and the dedication these men bring to this game. It's called "THE GAME" for a reason. As far as I'm concerned, this is just fuel for the fire the next time these teams meet.
47-1 is inflated. Most of those wins are because Ohio State played less talented teams.
100%
Thanks for that insight, Captain Obvious.
Ohio St loses again shocker. Ryan Day should go coach some HS team in New Hampshire. That is about his skill level as a coach
I'm sure the University of New Hampshire could use a locker room attendant or two. Perfect jobs for Ryan Day and his best buddy Chip Kelly.
I pIayed at Gtown and Brown. Perfect analogy. Lyin' was a sadsack QB on broken wheel of "THE" UNH - whatever that means.
I agree
Ohio states a soft program
Quoting Lou Holtz there?
You ever spent a day in the east Broad Street ghetto, Ann Arbor boy?
The reason as i see it is… Ohio recruits people who cannot or have not gelled as a team. It’s a culture thing-has to be since they garnered elite talent every year. Top 5 recruiting classes don’t necessarily translate into wins every time.
They do when you have A proven winning coach and DAY was gifted the job remember that so now we've seen what he is A good MAC school coach
I think you have a point.
Thats what they get for running the score up on Indiana 😅❤
All i can say is..... Its Great to Be.......... 〽️
a Michigan Wolverine!!
5-6
7-5 and looking forward to a bottom-tier bowl game?
@@TomVaneck-d2n Nice Tom!
@@Steven-r2w9b we will happily accept that bowl game after knowing Michigan fired Ryan Day
Ryan Day looks like a wax statue of Ryan Day.
Ryan Day thought his Super Bowl was running up the score on Indiana last week. Little did he know. 😂
pretty simple. Michigan respects OSU more than OSU respects Michigan, so they always start overconfident & arrogant and then don't know what to do when punched in the mouth. OSoftU.
That's probably true.
the “who is gonna replace him” argument is so lazy, it’s not the fans’ job to find evaluate and hire coaches but we can all see that the ones they have in place aren’t it
The lions got eberflus fired in Chicago, now Michigan is about to get Ryan day fired. This is gold. I love Michigan football baby!
Eberflus got himself fired. A year late also.
@ u know what i mean. Got himself fired playing a Michigan team. That’s the point. Anything else?
Be careful what you ask for. Cooper got fired at OSU then?
Dominic Zavada> Will Howard.
Game changing play was Makari Paige hit on Will Howard
I say the 68 yd punt
Teams on paper don't win the game, players do. Nobody gave them a chance and they did enough holding OSU at home to 10 points is an outstanding defensive effort. Grant and Graham controlled the interior line enough to disrupt their running game. OSU didn't have very many rushing yards.
😂😂😂 Just absolutely LOVE THIS!!!!! Unranked and goes into their place… #2 ohio state…. And MICHIGAN PULLS OFF A WIN!!!! ??? Wow! 😂😂 4 in a row! Keep counting !!!!!
This is a reminder that Michigan will actually be a better team next year when the game is in Ann Arbor.
Dunno about that. We lose our vaunted D-Line.
@@DarkSideChessyeah that is what worries me also. Hopefully they can get Benny to come back he has one more year of eligibility. His tape might be too good to not go to the nfl though. He is one of those guys who gets a shrine bowl game invite and tears it up there.
I’m not a betting man, but I was certain that Michigan will lose. Incredible. Perhaps, Moore is the right man for this job. He definitely earned it. You don’t “just” beat OSU.
If Ryan Day can't beat Michigan, he will lose his job. It's John Cooper all over again.
As a Penn State fan, I love to see it. Because strangely enough, we can't beat Ohio State.
You guys really turn up the heat 🔥 on Ohio State LoL and I’m over here just eating my popcorn 🍿 like Go Hoosiers. But yesterday I was a full on Michigan fan.
Don't worry. Ryan Day takes no responsibility for anything. Yap yap yap yap yap yap...
He is good at subtly going under the radar.
Money grubber, maybe
everyone is blaming Ryan Day..the guy who should take the blame is Ohio State's athletic director..day should have been fired 2 years ago..ohio state deserves to lose based on this fact
Chip Kelly's play calling was embarrassing. When Day is fired, hopefully Kelly goes with him.
Interesting. Got proof?
Only reason why he won’t be gone is because that buyout.
But ignoring that the only thing that can save his job is winning the national championship.
How many times he gotta lose against good times when it matters and Michigan before they say enough is enough?
Nothing makes me happier knowing the outgoing seniors who have been at OSU four years are leaving without a win in this matchup!!! Oh michigan only won cause they stole signs, oh Michigan only won cause of the snow, this that and any other excuse. Hold that L for another year OSU, no one feels bad
Man handled again
Ohio state shouldn’t even be allowed to watch the playoffs after that game
Last year a buckeye coworker said, "enjoy the asterisk with that win." Now I get to ask what the asterisk will be about this year.
It was the humidity.
Please come back and provide us an update!! 😂👍
Your coworker did not make any sense then. Ohio st had weeks to change signs
The wind
Tate was running an out that Amir Hall picked off and returned it to the 2 yard line. Jeramiah Smith was flailing around in the end zone begging for PI calls and then pushed off to score their only TD. Bottom line is this
Make Ohio State drive the field
Limit big plays
Limit quick strike scores
Flood the field with DBs and in space
Be discipline and sound
These kids were prepared for the game. The 4th down Ohio State got a 5 yard run Hausmann saw the play just didn't finish it. He pointed it out before the snap.
Generate a pass rush with 4 rushers. Ohio sts oline got absolutely destroyed on there final drive by a 4 man rush
As a Michigan fan, I really hope they keep Ryan Day
Ohio can't handle losing. Poor sportsmanship
NIL IS SPOILING SOME OF THESE KIDS
Nobody thought Tress would take OState to the next level but he did. And Hartline would take them to the next level too. 🤲🏽👁️
Its great to be a Michigan wolverine!
Day doesn't deserve the head coaching job period
Ryan Day is Toast and a garbage person let alone coach. The action of his team afterwards shows how much control he has and what his own players think about his leadership
I actually think his players care more than he does.
I agreed with the players not letting them dog them to the nth degree. It’s a game, I’m not going to let you take it to a master-slave relationship.
Save that same blame for Sherron Moore who allowed his players to try to take it to another level-again.
After they did that two years ago, on the sly, you don’t think our guys were singing “Carmen Ohio” with one eye open??
as a Michigan fan, i hope they keep day!!!1
Tell me if I'm wrong, but i think that the nfl comparison for that team down south would be the Dallas Cowboys. I mean, they're consistently hailed as a top team, but when we get to the end of the season, they fail to get through when it counts.
O-H-N-O thats 4 in a Row Go Blue!!
Old School Football.
Great Game and Michigan Defense played great
ohio state alumni and fans:
STOP DONATING MONEY TO OHIO STATE NIL
UNTIL THEY FIRE RYAN DAY!!!!!
Howard keeps talking trash but…….
No gold panties fo mama.
