I am so sorry about the problems - I was working at Cirque du Soleil in Munich at the time from the shutdown and lost my job as well at this time. 95 % of the workers lost their jobs right now. I hope from deep in my heart, that you will get help to save this special Cirque to save the people who give us such a lot of joy , to make us laugh and keep us amazed.

I cried, I’m a small circus artist in Costa Rica and i miss performing so much, circus is so powerful and takes a big space in my heart, I hope to be able to do big things like you one day. Thank you

Love it!!! My father was part of cirque du soleil in the 90s. He’s a musician and played music for the shows.

My husband and I attended a performance of 'Alegria' in Houston on March 12, 2020, which was our 37th anniversary. Of course we marveled at the skills of the incredibly talented performers. The next day everything was shut down. I have worried about all the those associated with Cirque and all the many, many other performance -based entities. Thanks for this window of joy. I pray it will not be long before everyone will be able to experience these marvelous artists live once again. I am counting on the vaccine development proceeding with good success!

This has me thinking that cirque could’ve easily done virtual shows.... I’m actually shocked they didn’t jump on that. I for one would’ve paid to see. Even artists on their own performing like the girl on the rope. That was amazing

Beautiful video! One of my best friends works for Cirque. He’s been all over the world helping run the shows. He was with Volta here in the US when he was laid off and just found out he’ll be TD with a different show come the middle of June. Soo happy for him! Hoping all of those employed by Cirque go back to their shows or tours soon!

I love this. I was at one of the last shows of Amaluna in Sacramento CA, when the shelter in place was beginning to take place. I rememberthey extended Sacramento because the China shows had been canceled. Amaluna was wonderful, and my first live experience at a Cirque show. It was everything I imagined and more. I don't know what happened to the performers, but I do hope everyone is safe and sound. And healthy. As we are coming out of sheltering in place, we are now under Martial Law in Sacramento. National Guard is here. Curfew is 8pm. Buildings have destroyed, businesses looted and destroyed. Monuments destroyed. It is a sad time in our world history because as humans we still don't get it. We are one race. The human race. And when one of us doesn't matter, none of us matter. Why don't we get it? What are we teaching or future generations? Cirque is a perfect embodiment of "One Race" because of all the amazing performers from all over the world. And when you perform you are one. Watching you perform we are one. We are in this together. Maybe this time we'll learn.
