As a Mamiya 330 owner was interested in your thoughts on it but didn’t hear much. What did you think? It is an interesting choice for a backpacking trip as it’s large and fragile.
need to get better at doing actual reviews. I think for the price in comparison to a Rollei, it's great. Definitely really heavy and a horrible choice for backpacking. I just happened to have this trip coming up and thought it would be fun to bring that camera for some shooting. I didn't quite expect how gnarly the backpacking was going to be - or the river traversing. Overall, it is a great camera.
@@FilmSupplyClub I really loved the form factor, design, and Carl Zeiss lens options with the Pentacon Six, but the camera itself seemed too fragile. I had two bodies and both had issues with the film advance shortly after buying them. The Bronica S2A seems like a very well built piece of equipment! The 75mm f/2.8 Nikkor lens is great too! Videos soon about the bronica
TLRs are my favorite camera class besides large format. But I stay away from the Mamiya C cameras, because they contradict the main advantages of TLRs - being inconspicuous and unobtrusive, relatively compact and lightweight, and very silent. When I want to use a 6x6 with exchangeable lenses, I take a Hasselblad style SLR. It can do everything what the Mamiya can do and adds the benefits of exchangeable magazines and no parallax error. To me, the Mamiya does not combine the advantages of a TLR and a SLR, it combines their disadvantages.

Wasn't totally convinced it was dead yet. Was definitely sad about it - stupid slip on a rock while crossing the river.
Not used the c330 do own the C3 love it for portraits also use a yashica Mat 24 if I need to carry a lighter camera.
Nice video. I snagged a Mamiya C200 recently and absolutely love it! Maymia made such great pro cameras.
I was nervous as heck about you being out in the creek with the Mamiya! Nice shots all around. The Yashica looks to take nice images as did the 330.

Nice pictures, passing by by in fast order. I would have liked some info on how they were taken and why you chose certain settings.

When I use prism eye finder, the focus seems not clear than seeing it through waist level. Is this normal?
