- Three-time GRAMMY Award® winner Raphael Saadiq has been named executive music producer for "Marvel's Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur," the highly-anticipated animated series following 13-year-old super-genius Lunella Lafayette (aka Moon Girl) and her 10-ton T-Rex, Devil Dinosaur, as they protect New York City's Lower East Side from danger. Based on Marvel's hit comic books, the Disney Branded Television series is slated to premiere in 2023 on Disney Channel and Disney+.

Finally, A modern day Animated Marvel Show that has Style and Aesthetic that feels alive. What If was the step in the right direction, and this is now the next big step. Next is getting Spectacular Spider-Man back for Season 3.

Spectacular S3 is what I'd call hoping a little too much. However, I'd definitely say Spider-Man: Freshmen Year would be another great step.

This is the first animated show made in collaboration with Disney Television Animation and Marvel. I am a BIG Marvel fan and I love the animation so much! Diamond White is a perfect casting choice for the voice of Luna Lafayette / Moon Girl.

This is going to be animation? I was really happy when they announced they were doing this show, but I was hoping it was going to be live action. Raphael Saadiq is one of my favorite music producers, so I know the music will be great.
I assumed when the other marvel cartoons got canceled Disney Channel would just stop making marvel cartoons but if it’s just done in house then? Why didn’t they just move the other marvel cartoons in house as well

I am really looking forward to this. It looks very lively and fun. It feels like Luna has lost a lot of steam since this was first announced in terms of comic appearances so hopefully this gives her a bit of a boost in popularity again.

Wow, this might be the first Marvel animated series with real, creative drive behind it we’ve had since Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. But I’m pretty sure that Moon Girl is not the first black teen superhero girl; I don’t know what you guys were thinking saying that.

Saadiq is one of the true greats.
This has potential.
I hope Marvel will make a movie about a new superhero character who is of Iraqi origin, I mean an ancient Iraqi character who will be like a new superhero in the Marvel world, for example, the character of Hammurabi or Arkido, or his name is after an ancient Iraqi city like Ur or Akkad, I think that will be amazing, especially if The old Iraqi antiquities appear in the movie. That would be great.. It can be done as they did the Egyptian Moon Knight character.. I think it will be a great success, especially if it shows scenes in historical places in Iraq.. I hope Marvel will do that.
Only problem is marvel themselves wouldn't be able to they could throw together a brand new character but legal problems would arise if they tried tying actual characters form the mythos to the character like Moon Knight but it's not impossible but I doubt marvel would take the risk when they have the MCU to piggyback off of
