Your new home looks gorgeous, I love the big trees outside. The kitchen has come along great and I love to see how you and your husband are such a great team in all this. A lovely wholesome family and real role models.
Whenever I use a rolled product like shelf liner, I take the entire roll and roll it the other way - meaning, start from the beginning of the roll and roll it in the opposite way. I do it a couple of days ahead of time. It only takes a few minutes and helps the roll lay flatter when you use it. Or you can just do the opposite roll for each cut liner section as you go. I love that you took a shelf right out of the cabinet instead of measuring!
Robin, if you look on your tape measure at some point it will tell you how wide it is. It's usually around 2 in, so you can put it flat onto whatever you're measuring and just add 2 inches to what it says at the edge of the tape measure. I've lived for years without knowing this it's such a big help!
I live in Round Rock about a mile from where 1 of the tornadoes touched down - it was scary! Your kitchen is beautiful and so is your office. I also really loved Peyton's headboard.
I love the idea about the storage box catching a potential leak under the sink. That is a great idea! Your home is coming together beautifully. The silverware drawer organization and cord organizers were my favorite.

Robin, we remodeled our kitchen this year with the same color scheme (our cabinet maker uses Sherwin Williams Repose Grey). I also used those same liners for our drawers and cabinets, but ended up giving up. I just couldn't get them to stay down, even with tape. When I would put dishes in they would shift. So I ended up throwing them all away, and may line my cabinets another day with sticky contact paper. Your kitchen looks beautiful!

Great organization and the food looked delicious. I'm behind on here due to not having very much time before work and falling asleep sooner after work. My solution is to listen while I'm at work and watch on my days off. I got a new binder, some more page protectors, and some balconette bras. Unfortunately it seems I'm allergic to two of them and the only bra sized was a little too high for the square neck lines on my newest dresses. I ordered a strapless one from Decent Exposures but it takes weeks to ship as they are custom made. I've lost some inches in everywhere except my bust by eating mostly vegetables. Weight hasn,'t changed though. Likely due to my bust being proportionally too large and so heavy. They likely weigh 45 lbs. I have no way to actually measure their weight but they do feel that heavy.
I’m curious if you prefer the metal can organizer over the graduated step style. I will be renovating our kitchen soon and currently organizing the existing kitchen and my bathroom and laundry as well so always looking for ideas. You are always an inspiration.

The house is coming along quite lovely Robin. We moved to our new home after 16 years and renovated the entire house prior to moving in. My husband is quite the handyman as well. I love our farmhouse sink. From cleaning it to not having to hit corners when washing a pot or pan that is large. You are going to love it as well. You don't have to buy this particular brand, but I've found that using Velcro ties helps me manage my cords and cables very well. Love your videos!

Question: I recall when your new kitchen cabinets were installed, there was a small gap from ceiling to top of all cabinets (I have same issue). TODAY, I noticed it was no longer there yet there is no added trim? Did your husband reinstall and shimmied to now not have that gap? Just wondering because I don’t see a molding and yet don’t see that gap? Thx
It looks so good! Have you considered a cord containment box for all the cords on your desk? They sell them on Amazon and they hide all the cord mess. We use them in several places in our home and they make it look much tidier.
I’m wondering if you have considered the solution to the cord management on your desk surface by having a large hole (many sizes of drill hole bits available) that allow your cords to drop down to an outlet under your desktop. The hole has a plastic grommet to finish the look. Of course this necessitates an electrical outlet perhaps in your desk knee space. We’ve done this countless times in our business offices as well as home offices. It makes for a tidy solution to a messy problem.
Is your new stove top induction? If so, please post on how you like it. I'm thinking of getting one and would like to know how easy/hard it is to adjust to one.

Robin, check Amazon for a cable management box for behind your printer. We have the black rectangular one in our TV room and it works great to corral all the chords. I have a small power strip in ours to also help keep everything in one spot.

I’m loving these videos. In your new office if you can have the counter top installers come back, a hole can be drilled so you only bring the power strip cords up. ( just an idea). We drove through your area, If it had not been Easter weekend, I would have called an invited you to lunch ~ Janet 😘

Hello Robin! I use the VELCRO Brand ONE-WRAP Cable Ties | 60Pk | 8 x 1/2" Straps, Multicolor | Strong Reusable Wire Management | Cord Bundling for Home Office and Data Centers product from Amazon. You don't have to buy this particular brand, but I've found that using Velcro ties helps me manage my cords and cables very well. Love your videos!

Question: I recall when your new kitchen cabinets were installed, there was a small gap from ceiling to top of all cabinets (I have same issue). TODAY, I noticed it was no longer there yet there is no added trim? Did your husband reinstall and shimmied to now not have that gap? Just wondering because I don’t see a molding and yet don’t see that gap? Thx

It looks so good! Have you considered a cord containment box for all the cords on your desk? They sell them on Amazon and they hide all the cord mess. We use them in several places in our home and they make it look much tidier.

I’m wondering if you have considered the solution to the cord management on your desk surface by having a large hole (many sizes of drill hole bits available) that allow your cords to drop down to an outlet under your desktop. The hole has a plastic grommet to finish the look. Of course this necessitates an electrical outlet perhaps in your desk knee space. We’ve done this countless times in our business offices as well as home offices. It makes for a tidy solution to a messy problem.
I did consider that, but because it would require more electrical work decided against it. Maybe I’ll reconsider at some point in the future. 👍😊🌷💗

Robin, check Amazon for a cable management box for behind your printer. We have the black rectangular one in our TV room and it works great to corral all the chords. I have a small power strip in ours to also help keep everything in one spot.
