i find that sometimes there is not enough time for an intermediate step, so what i like to do is already have a starting speed towards the 2nd post. This makes 2nd post shots a lot easier to deal with, but you really need to work on fast jumpbacks to cover the 1st post, incase the shooter notices your movement direction
