Tomorrow will be exactly a year since you posted this film, Ms. EmiBea. You have an excellent eye and ear ;-) to use as an outlet for your creativity-as well as a beautiful heart.
Thank you for touching mine: You made my day today. Happy Valentines Day to you!
@@tundrawomansays5067 thank you so much, that’s very kind of you to say, I’m so happy to hear you enjoyed it!
Hey, I love this move. Is that actress who plays Mackenzie on a channel called Supermission by any chance?
@@bevanborges4047 Thank you. She is not.
PERFECT! i love thisssss! And oh i am deaf but i can speak!
Thank you!
@@EmiBeaFilm no problem 🙌
@@sarahmarionneibardaloza163 so ur act in the film
No probs u are great
Great film! When he said "make some *strange* hand gestures and some *weird* noises" I got so aggravated. I have such a soft spot for the deaf community, they're so sweet.
Me too, it got me mad
Hi! That is actually me, and I do apologize for aggravating you! I also have a very soft spot for the deaf community as well, which is why I wanted to do it!
@@kdowns93 You're a really good actor.
I have a soft spot for humanity. Kind of an Equal Opportunity Softie old widow broad....with a pretty salty outside ;-)
Same
"love is a touch and yet not a touch." so moved.
So glad to hear you enjoyed it! Thank you for the support.
Beautiful story☺
I really appreciate the hard work of Thomas for learning sign language.. 😌
Thank you!
I recently met Heba Toulan. That's how I found out about the film. Great job. I look forward to you next project.
Jason Raschen thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
This is amazing. I'm really impressed. You guys did a good job. Keep it up
Wow ✌🏼 just awesome 😍
An excellent film! I enjoyed watching it and it ended too soon! One thought; If you want your audience to be involved with your characters, you must, at some point, shoot a tighter shot of them. Without that, your audience is watching something from across the room and cannot feel drawn into the emotions of the characters. I know what Heba (great job, btw) looks like, because I know her, but the audience only saw a Brown haired girl smiling from a distance. This is only my opinion, and I like the film very much. It is very similar to how I began signing (very poorly, I might add!). My “Sara” was an actress with the Nat. Theatre for the Deaf that did a show at my university, UNC.🤟
Thanks for your feedback and we are glad you enjoyed it. I think she did a great job considering it's her first film and she is only 18. She is currently in college learning to be a filmmaker so I'm sure her films will only get better.
@@gaylemartin3589 She's only 18? I thought she was older than me (no offence)!

This film is beautiful :)
Rocketified Narwhal thank you!
Being Scottish, I tend to learn BSL, which is short for British Sign Language, but no matter what the signing system or language is, its something that everyone should at least attempt! I'm an uncle, and I'm trying to get my niece and nephew to learn BSL, because who knows, there could be a child coming into their class one day, and it turns out they're deaf. BSL, ASL, Auslan, or any signing in general should be taught to children at an early age, probably by the age of 4 or 5, that way, they would be able to pickup on it quicker and prepare themselves for the future if they ever befriend a deaf person!
Fantastic!
I LOVED this so much!
Thank you!
In today's time it's hard to believe someone putting so much effort first hand is hard to believe but I loved the message.
Thank you!
Really amazing short film. 😍 hoping to see more like this and hoping to see this channel gets millions of subscribers.
Thank you so much!
@@EmiBeaFilm you are welcome
I have seen this film several
times and have found it to
be very interesting. For one
year, I took four levels of
ASL and found out that I
love learning ASL. I also
found out, that some signs
in one part of the US can be
totally different in another
part of the US.
Thank you Jeffrey for the support!
great short, made me smile and tear up....well done
Thank you Alex, I’m so happy you enjoyed it!
I’m deaf, I have to say this is nice video, I like it. I think it’s important that everyone can try to learn sign language, or even a boyfriend or girlfriend. Don’t be sorry, just practicing more and improving to get better!
I love this.🤗🤗
Thank you!
Great short film!
Thank you!
Ohh I love this! It didn't felt like I was watching for 17 minutes already. Keep it up, and Godbless! ❤
IT WAS A MAGNILOQUENTLY CREATED SCENE BY BOTH THE PROTAGONIST THOMAS AND HER TEACHER , SIGNED LANGUAGE WAS A VERY VERSATILE MOVE BY BOTH OF THEM

Not a bad first start on a short film; just a bit of polishing and it would have greater impact.

@@EmiBeaFilm Welcome... 😃
Interesting
I'm not meaning to be rude here but, just out of interest, is the actress, Heba Toulan, actually deaf in real life? I'm just interested to know if they used a hearing person who knows sign language to play a deaf character. Thanks.
Yes, Heba Toulan is deaf in real life, all of the actors knew sign language and we had a translator on set to help direct Heba.
@@EmiBeaFilm Great! Thanks for replying! 😊

Confuse
Always remember we must repent of our sins (sin is transgression The Law Of Yahuah The Father in Heaven. The Law are The Books: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, & Deuteronomy). We must repent of our sins and Have Belief On Yahusha The Messiah. HE Died and Rose three days later so that we can be forgiven of our sins!
Come to HIM🙂🙂
Acting not perfect, yet story is.
So stupid! They can use written messages!
Why is signing stupid?
