What if everything works(ice and water produced properly, condenser OK,etc.) but there's an intermittent popping sound that comes from the rear of the dispenser like every few days? I thought I might have fixed by tossing out a certain amount of ice cubes from the tray but that doesn't seem to work since the noise returns anyway. Would you suggest replacing the dispenser or just leave it along? Thanks

+30CEC If the icemaker is cycling, but no ice is being made it is possible the water inlet valve is defective and unable to supply water to the icemaker .
I have a problem where both the water and ice turn off when they decide - a random few seconds after the glass is removed. This encourages users to open the fridge door to shut the item. I think this will shorten the life of the fridge and wear out the weather stripping on the door. Any ideas?

I have checked both micro switches with a multi meter and both are fine. I have checked the water inlet solenoid for continuity and both are also fine. Any ideas ? Thanks in advance.

+Alma Rodriguez If you forgot to purge the water lines after installing a new filter, the first few batches of ice had air in the line when it went to fill.

I thought at 1:20 where the result of the water not shutting off properly could be a problem with the dispenser switch. Is that correct?
