Attempted murder and aggravated assault are both 2nd degree in Texas. Aggravated assault is easier to prove in this case.
Actually in truth she may not be lucky to be alive. My friend was attacked and hit in tge head yrs ago. I caused life long problems. His 20 yrs of life afterwards was not worth living. He had constant violent headaches he had problems with balance, he was a plumber and couldn't work, he was sick all the time. His personality changed, he couldn't remember things, he was in the hospital many times for complications resulting in the attack. He died in his 40s . It was really sad. So she may not be lucky to be alive at all

She's going to need your prayers. My friend was attacked yrs ago and hit in the head. It's ruined his life. He died in his 40s but tge 20trs after the attack was one of misery and pain. Violent headaches, loss of memories, loss of balance, multiple hospitalizations, he was a plumber and couldn't work. Thar woman will probably have neck problems as well. She's going to need all your prayers believe me. I hope her job has real good health care She's going to need it
