其實台灣傳統既雞卷唔一定有雞肉的, 因為雞卷個名的[雞]係閩南話發音, 意思係[剩下的] [多出來的] , 所以[雞卷]原意係話將廚房煮剩的食材卷起來炸, 不浪費食物的做法, 有乜就炸乜, 所以入面的材料就係每間舖自由發揮的.
