I moved away from Minnesota a year ago, and at that i would listen to this song and just cry, especially I was leaving behind a good friend i also had interest in. Now, it’s interesting to look back and see that I’m more content now than i was there.

This song has come to mean a lot to me. I discovered it over a year ago, ironically just before my family and I traveled to Kansas City to see my family. It was funny then because, hey, we were leaving Minnesota. Little did I know that a year later, I would actually be leaving for good, moving to Kansas City. I was born in Minnesota and I lived there my entire life until the last few months. Leaving took some getting used to. But now that I've really settled into KC, this song is completely different to me. I left everything I knew behind. I left a girl that I liked behind. I feel like my life has kinda become this song. Anyway, that's enough ranting.
