ok on the Mesh Follow I solved the 2 problems you showed you thought were bugs, the one with it selecting the vertices on the cube where there random or all. if you look under the All when it's selected to Verts in settings you see Random Custom that sets the amount of random if you put it on 1% it will select all when it sweeps. The second one is when it sweeps in automatic when they're smooth, and at the end they trail off in a different direction. I solved that by setting the end frame to the length of the animation. it has start and end frames in the B Tracer settings. Just scroll the animation timeline to the end and go over to the right of the time line and see how many frames it is.. When you set it then it does not shoot off. also I noticed that the shoot off points towards the cursor.

Nice. I'm following you on the second problem, your solution works great. Not on the first though. You seem to be describing a way to get the All feature to work in your explanation of the first problem. I'm not sure if I edited this video weird and made it sound like I was having a problem with the All feature, but I was not. The All feature works fine, no hacks needed for that one. The issue is with "Custom Select" which is supposed to allow you to make a selection of mesh and have the curves source from that mesh selection when pressing run. That's the part that doesn't work for me. I don't see an option for "Random Custom". In my version (tried in 3.0 and 3.1) the options while Verts is selected are "Random", "Custom Select", and "All.
