SWCP Ep.6 : Crackington Haven to Boscastle & Tintagel

In spite of some rain this has been our favourite two days of hiking so far. Its dramatic without being too strenuous and Boscastle makes the perfect base of this part of North Cornwall.

'Greatest location for a YH'. A debate in its own right.
I suspect that the Glen Affric YH would have something to say about that. 3 hours walk from the nearest car park. Surrounded by Munros. No Wifi, no phone reception. Idyllic.
Gairloch sands YH might lay claim to the best view.
Having said that, the Tintagel one does look a great location.

We did Crackington Haven to Tintagel in one great (but tough) day. The stretch to Port Isaac is also great.

You join the ranks of the crazy Germand and bonkers American! Best advice you gave me was not to rush it and we've taken that to heart. Looking forward to the next stretch in the autumn.
