I really love your videos. I’m an autistic child and many of my special interests overlap with your content. For example, last week I had a really strong desire to do in-depth research into retrotransposons and your videos helped me to learn!
My long term special interests are epigenetics and parthenogenesis, specifically automixis. I even made my own TH-cam video on this topic!
Today I want to know about mitochondrial dna. Do you have a video on it/would you ever make one?

Could be autism milder defect on fragile x. Because I think we can se some similarities. For example autistic behavior fragile x patients, autism afects more boys, more hyperactivity...

More boys are diagnosed. That does not mean it doesn't affect girls in the same rates. There are many girls and women not being diagnosed or misdiagnosed. Many of us are not diagnosed properly until adulthood because they only studied boys originally. It is a misconception to think only boys or majority of boys versus girls are autistic.

It is not a disorder more like a condition

Yes Thats the current understanding and they are neurodivergent individuals and its not appropriate to call them autistic.

@@animatedbiologywitharpan It is still okay to call them autistic and there are different types of neurodivergencies other than autism like dyscalculia, ADHD, dyslexia and Tourette’s syndrome just to name a few

"It iS NoT A DisORdEr" Words matter. This video was very professional, this is NOT the place to attempt to correct someone that is explicitly bringing understanding of such thing.

That isn't accurate. This is exactly the place to talk about whether or not the term disorder is correct. Intellectual debate should always be encouraged. To the autistic community using a term like disorder is derogatory, even though that is the accepted DSM terminology. Many in the autistic community are seeking to change that understanding. Hence, the comment above.

It's disorder (and it's hell - I have autism). We can found pathologic changes in brain so it's patology and pathologic behavior, what limits person in normal life.
