You can’t get rid of corruption without getting rid of the ANC and that’s where the problem is Ramaphosa is not just getting rid of corruption his getting rid of the ANC and the problem now we face is who/what is going to replace it ?

What we need now is African people of stature like professors who above factions. We may need them if these factions widened to chaos. Just imagine if ANC veterans were little more diplomatic and less judgemental until they have solid evidence .Veterans would have gain trust as elders to intervene now . It is obvious in Prof analysis that he still believe that ANC have a corrupt faction and another one which is fighting corruption. Corruption in SA is across all factions ,sectors ,races etc .This approach make him look naive or desperate for recognition and media coverage or being used. We all know that kicking an already declared villain is short cut to media coverage and recognition. Once you expose corruption across you become Maimane. Others pity him ,others like or hate him but it is in Prof hands to research about corruption stand for truth. If people hate him for truth at TIME will vindicate him eventually. If they love him because they were misled or because he is used, TIME will eventually expose him. This is not a sprint but a marathon battle. If not he must disappear while his name is still intact.

@@loyiso5803 It is not clear what sort of Ace victory do you envisage. I have never thought I will live to see a worst secretary general of the ANC. To think that this office was once occupied by the likes of Walter Sisulu, Oliver Tambo and the dynamic intellectual called Duma Nokwe. It is amazing to think that the ANC could easily be among the few national liberation, in history, that managed produce huge quantities of information in the form of pamphlets, journals, books, and conference proceedings. Yet Ace claim of long-term membership of the ANC barely reflects such a history. I was horrified when Ace publicly demonstrated lack of understanding of the 1969 Strategy and Tactics of the ANC by claiming that only members with MK background should be leaders. What seems to baffles is the notion of Radical Economic Transformation as espoused by the supporters of ACE Magashule. In actual fact their understanding of radical transformation is so shallow, it is actually embarrassing. Strange enough they had the past ten years to put in place policies to realise this goal. Instead they empowered the Guptas and other parasitic crony capitalists. These people in government only managed to distribute poverty among the same masses they claim to lead. Branch meetings these days are controlled by local barons and singing and sloganeering are the preoccupation and not policy analysis. Those ended during the era of underground struggle. You see if these RET brigade manage to hijack the ANC, the latter will never win elections. During the Zuma years a foreign civilian plane landed at our key Air force Base and nothing was done and only lame excuses were made. This was a lowest point of the post colonial South Africa. Many could not even fathom the gravity of the problem. The implications were dire because hostile external forces could easily access our strategic installation to the detriment of our country and people. I do not think I heard anything from Tony Yengeni, another RET enthusiast, whose task in the NEC is safety and security. Maybe I am expecting too much from this grouping.

You see now the Prof is coming back, "the anc runners are following the money and the money is with Cyril ", Prof Ndletyana is a Ramaphosa guy for real, so let's go from the beginning he admits the Ramaphosa faction is gaining momentum, wining or majority in the NEC, so I will put to him u Prof that those anc nec people are not committed to cleanliness or anti corruption they want to say their assea at the expense of the minute faction at the moment, so as much as Ace's politics are "fake" so is Ramaphosa, check the issue of Gomba when it all happen where was Mabuyane, where was Marsualle and where are they now?
Come on Prof at least be consistent, 90% of anc runners follow the money not conviction that's exactly what is happening in the NEC right now, I like Mr Swana's well put observation that 80% of the anc is corrupt and Ramaphosa is in that lot together with Ace, the medicine analogy and first aid, spot on. @@mamathembu6298 Are you saying every time a decision is to be made branches are to be consulted. What is the point of the NEC and NWC? if you apply critical thinking and analysis, you will realise that such a scenario will result in nothing being done. Therefore, there will be no organisation and government to run. Things do not work like that, certainly in any self respecting organisation. What is the point of having policies, which are simply a guide to action. This strange reasoning by ACE is quite extraordinary and exposes him as a charlatan with scant understanding of of ANC policies. Nobody is explaining how this consultation will take place. @@blessngs6252 A lot of people who seem to support nationalisation of strategic assets do so from ignorance. For their argument to carry weight, they need to be clued up about the economic situation in South Africa. Firstly, we have more than 700 entities under state control in different spheres of government- nationalised entities. Therefore, if they cared about nationalisation they would insist on government to employ competent and skilled individuals to run entities under government control. The so-called RET brigade are silent in this respect. To me they are not radical, but mistaken chest beating bravado to radicalism. Ominously, their argument for complete nationalisation of the reserve equates to printing paper money and its increased circulation. That would be disastrous because our economy has shrunk so much that the increased volume of money supply would be inflationary because we are producing correspondingly fewer goods and services. The consequences would be money that is just a worthless paper. Imagine buying a loaf of bread for two thousand rands. This is actually what is happening in some countries on the continent, e.g. Zimbabwe. During the OR Tambo era we were grounded on the fundamentals of Political Economy which clearly explains the structure of the economy and the forces that influence it. Shouting empty slogans would not do because ignorance cannot be the basis of promoting a particular perspective.

Why I'm saying so they gave us freedom with np economy or land. Hunger can control mind. Every man want to leave something for his family and generation's, so every who gets a chance to do so will. Pointing fingers to each other will only lead into a fight while this was a set up. We should have questioned ourselves first or have a commission that will check how much this country had before 1994 and what happened to those transactions. Second even now we are owing 10 percentage of land and 90 percentage to whites why ? This is a joke, how do we expect to do well as country if economy is given into one group. Sasol was sold why ?
