Im so sorry this happened to you. They acted terribly. Karma will catch em. But that's not what's important. What's important is that you know that you are a champion and a Saiyan, nothing can keep you down. Keep at it man. Keep making everybody proud.
i really hope you do come to Melbourne Australia Jon for the DLC. Could be your redemption arc story. That just sucks how the judges knew who you were and used that to their advantage. But keep your head up, would like to see you at worlds and go all the way.
Having it for two rounds!?! How hard is it for them to yell beginning of round 4 to players to check their decks and make sure if everything is OK. If the player then is not honest and comes, sure DQ. Prior to DLC birmingham I bought 4 rapunzels online. One was a fake, I did not notice. They caught it and made me replace. Bought one from a vendor and continued. Good that they are sharp and catch stuff, but please adress someone immediately, give them a chance to be honest. Now it feels like they knew when you lost it, you didn’t know exactly, they assume that is a lie and DQ..
Under which category was you DQ reported ? "Unsporting - Severe" or "Cheating". a DQ must be under one of theses categories (or Improper Match Result / wagering but that is clearly not the case). I don't think I can be cheating, as I don't see why playing with one less shark could be seen as getting intentional advantage. Cheating requires to be "in order to gain an advantage" Unsporting Sever would need "A player takes an action that significantly disrupts the tournament" Nothing in the Penalty Guidelines mention lying to staff. The closest is "A player fails to comply with/ignores the instructions of a Tournament Ofcial" but it's related to "Unsporting - Major" which is not a DQ but a Match Loss.
I lost my first round in DLC birmingham due to having a BRAWL missing in my deck, one less out to diablo, i fixed after but yea. Should make it so if you can't replace the card it becomes a 2/2 vanilla 1 drop that matches color, something like that.
I’m so sorry this happened. It’s so unfortunate that it played out this way but you’ve proven yourself to be such a consistent player. Take however long of a break you need and hope to see you back next season. Sending much love and good vibes your way man, you deserve it.
Not only did they DQ you they also accused you of lying! I’m so so sorry this happened to you. It seems these judges are on a power trip and look for reasons to intervene. I hope going forward that judge is no longer allowed at events. They should’ve jsut announced they found the card and then it’s cleared up. You’ll be back, you deserve to be at worlds and they’ve robbed you of that opportunity.
I can’t wait for the feedback forms for this event to come through. It was an absolute joke. I heard that the head judge is new. He seems to be completely power tripping because there were SO many DQs, and many good, honest players being punished way, way too harshly.
Has the judge never played a tournament? Expects someone to know every single card/turn/round perfectly after multiple rounds, and traveling across the country? Absolutely embarrassing for the game. The fact that no announcement was made even though they had the card is crazy. Sorry man. I hope this doesn’t turn you away from the game, you’re a great player. Hope to see you in future tournaments.
Innocent people do not make 30 minute rant videos to defend themselves. This video hurts your reputation far worse than just accepting the DQ and moving on. Multiple judges and head judges and RB rules committee had to make this decision together so there is zero chance all of them got together and got it wrong. There are clearly facts missing from the video to spin it positive for him. The story told this way just makes zero sense.
Or, maybe, this is a long video because he’s describing the ENTIRE situation. He was riding high and enjoying himself as players should be. You sitting here saying it “hurts” his reputation is a lack of understanding what happened. He was robbed, plain and simple. You think judges and RB staff CAN’T make a mistake? You are acting like a sheep who just believes who ever is in power is never wrong. This DQ was wrong. The judges fumbled every step of the way and committed borderline entrapment. And I’m not suprised you can’t “comprehend” this story because it doesn’t make sense. Per RB RULES, he should have been given a GAME LOSS, and that’s it. The Head Judge, who btw NEVER head judged a major event before in Lorcana, felt some kind of way about it and his bruised ego caused an egregious call. Not that hard to figure out
@@t00siktv16you are claiming this without knowing all the facts. Theres Jons story, there is the judges story, and there is the truth. You believing 100 percent of Jons story is fine but its not 100 percent the truth. If that is the case the judges do not rule it that way. This is also a player who has been banned from stores for cheating/lying/stealing before so take everything he says with a grain of salt.
@@jeffb6871 You’re right, no evidence from the judging staff or RB has been made public. And that’s a problem. Or maybe it’s because they don’t want to make it public because even more questions will be asked. Like why didn’t the 1st judge attempt to return the card to its owner, or why did they issue the game loss and then issue DQ? If you can’t see past your blindness on this issue then I guess it’s ok. Your minority opinion doesn’t really matter seeing how the a vast amount of people and players are backing him. You want to play the “protector” of judges or event staff that’s fine. They made a mistake and shouldn’t be aloud to just walk away. And btw, he has NEVER been banned for cheating. He was banned because a store employee mis handled his buy and then lost it. So they just “assumed” he stole it lol. But nice try on smearing his repuatation.
@ After every game at LCQ I meticulously counted all my cards to double check I had the right amount. I am sure most people do? If he was running into R/B all day long then one less unhelpful card could have made the difference in the long drawn out games. My 2 cents.
@@the7thmarch I've played competitive card games for over a decade and have never counted my cards after every round. Sure, that may be an oversight on my part but I'd wager there is a LARGE percentage of players who don't.

Keep playing, bro! The game needs you! And I want to see you realize your full potential!
you're truly one of the best! Dont let them keep you down
So sorry this happened to you, you had a great run and that’s something to be proud of but I can’t imagine the sting of the DQ. Take care.
Dont give them the satisfaction. This is nothing but a stumble, come back even stronger Dragon.

Keep your head up man. You're a great player and this is just a set back.
I am so sorry that happened! I don't have much experience with paper TCGs and can't say I always count my cards..well, I should start, apparently
Hang in there man, you’ll crush it next year!
That's really unfortunate mate.. sorry that happened

Your the goat gang 🔥😈 we go at it next year for the world 🌎
You really are an inspiration. This situation should have been handled better

Jonz I'm sorry brother. You don't need to cheat. You actively prove to be one of the most consistent players in the game. They royally screwed you.
