GOTR Combos

Mine 150 shards if no colossal pouch, if pouch mine until first portal. Craft combo runes using fire runes for all the elemental altars except fire, which you will use the water runes for. Watch portal timer to ensure you won't miss them. The first portal will take 155-160 seconds to open then all after will take around 115 seconds. Ensure you are not forgetting to charge the barriers with yourr cells, as these points and experience add up significantly over time. If you only have a weak cell in your inventory, you can just opt to drop it/keep it in your inventory to charge up with next altar.
This game was on the lower side of points for me and I got 8 total catalytic points and 0 elemental. Usually, I'll roll for around 9-10 catalytic points and 1 elemental point per game using this method. This generally increases with your level slowly over time and eventually being able to pull off 13-14 point games.
With this being combos, that means you will be disproportionately gaining elemental points. What I like to do is once I run out of binding necklaces, (I usually bring 2-4 depending how long I will be playing GOTR for) I start focus crafting catalytic runes until my points balance out.
