Why was I so invested in this!? Great tourney. I wouldve gone Lineage. But who doesnt love an underdog winning though. The Lineage is more versatile btwn these two. It can even be dressed up but your use-case was a huge factor for u. Ugh- loved the tourney man. Keep up the good work.
Smart choice! Some watches are nice for being packed with a tech or having interesting case or having fancy complications, but at the end, we mostly are comfortable with a watch covering most of daily needs, not the most fancy or most expensive watch.
Worthy winner! I actually own both, but a month ago I got a Garmin Instinct 2S Solar which IMHO outshines Casio (which I have a deep respect for). It's very casio-ish but so feature-rich I can't see myself wearing another beater (except Instinct 3 which is coming - dropping Instinct 2 to ~$250). Con: needs charging every 2-3 weeks unless it gets a LOT of sun (in event of apocalypse I'd stick with PRG-30). Lack of a normal caseback also bothers me as an amateur watch tinkerer (it's glued like a phone).
really thought the lineage was going to win (my personal choice from your collection) .. that mini watch "tournament" was rwally content brotha.. can't wait to see what you'll be picking up in 2025 🎉 Happy New Year!
@@thissmallwrist Hi! Sorry to bother you again. Please tell me how the viewing angles fare on PRG-30? Like when you are just glancing at it at a steep angle when it's on your wrist laying on the table, for example? I've been pursuing the GW5000U but now I'm disappointed that it has poor view angles, and DW5000R is still hard to get and overpriced, while the PRG-30 is 140 EUR on Sakurawatches + 30 EUR shipping and all... PRW-30 is discontinued, but I hope they keep PRG-30 for longer, the only budget steel lug option as of now.

Thanks for keeping up with the series. I had a lot of fun. On most days the Lineage is probably the winner, but the Pro Trek is a great watch.
@ u killed this video content. Very fun. Great format.

Very true. If a watch covers the basics really well, it could beat out a more feature heavy watch any day.

Glad to know someone else likes the Pro Trek. Very underrated line of Casio watches.

Thanks for following the series. I've picked up some great Casio watches already and looking forward to talking about them.

Thanks for following the series. The winner even surprised me.
