Goldstein supposed to be a United fan, saying apparently everyone was singing his praises before the Injury. Pretty much every genuine United fan was fully aware of Mainoo over the last 18 months. It was fairly clear aswell that He was in Ten Hag's main plan coming into this season, before the injury. It's a big part on how difficult it has been for Ten Hag to implement an effective Midfield. One of the most impactful Injuries of the big list and I think it's overlooked by the media. He hasn't just appeared suddenly.

Ten Hag had to make those subs. Most players were coming back from injury and the subs available that have been here for years before him that weren't good enough are still here. We can't play high or from the back with Evans and Maguire so that's why they have to play deep when they come on.
That's the problem with fans. You're dumb if you do it and dumb if you don't. No wonder Pep says if it works I am a genius and if it doesn't I am overthinking.

Usually people blame the managers why they keep forward thinking players when the game is almost over instead of bringing in defensive minded players. I see these comments from pundits and fans all the time. Next time just wait and you'll see a Manger being accused of keeping a striker who was tired instead of bringing a defender to see off the game especially when it's just 4 minutes to the end of regular time. Sometimes those players get tired mentally too.
but why Anthony and not Amad or even Pellistri. Anthony has been given much game time and hass proven nothing
first time in the league that united have had their best 11 available. then look at the players that were subbed on and how much the level dropped. the entire seasons 10+ injuries...ofc this season wasn't going to go how everyone thought. uniteds academy has kept the club afloat this season, best in the country.

The subs were necessary, especially for Martinez, who EtH can't afford to risk, and Høljund who was dead on his legs after all that hustling. I'm just glad we got the win, but we need to work on our game management and killing the game off when the opportunities present itself.

What happen in the game was he had to take off casemiro and that' was when wolves got a hold of the midfield hence a foothold in the game
The under 21s and under 18s are both top of their leagues and the future looks very bright for our youth we just need to keep them and not sell to balance the books like Chelsea have done.

Andy Townsend missed the important point - space opened up for Mainoo to take a shot because Forson made a critically essential run to drag 3 defenders with him. That United fan calling in has clearly not analyzed the game properly, the substitutions were fine.
