Watched alot of him in youth games. Beginning ov last season i was telling my mate hes ready for the first team. Whats even better about the lad is that he can play every midfield position.
This was pre-game conference before he gave that World Class showdown against Arsenal 😬
Fast forward, he scores a brilliant goal to seal 2-1 win against City in FA Cup final at Wembley in that same season, and was a regular in the league.
The kid Kobbie is such a talent, to be this cool and productive in midfield at this age ain’t a joke

Need to remember, he is only 18, let him play his football, keep the attention and limelight away from him, last thing we want is to place too much pressure on him at a young age. Let him focus on playing his game and developing. Good thing is, he has an old school father, his dad apparently told the coaching staff, if he needs a clip round the ear, go ahead.

Last season was Garnacho and possibly Mainoo if he didnt get injured

@@dranzerkai6051 it’s about giving the kid a chance but he couldn’t get off the bench, not once! Couldn’t even get a cup game. Instead you pick McFred. I can understand if he’s a poor trainer or there was bust up, but if you had no intention of playing him, you could have sent him out on loan.
He’s the type of player you build teams around and I hope he becomes a success in the Dutch league. Utd should never be a team that lets a talent like that go so easily.

@@damiwrighto.922except Iqbal barely made matchday squads under ETH or got any playtime in regular season while Mainoo already has. Also the performance levels in pre season are vastly different.
Its like saying Garnacho would have flopped just because some past wonderkid with hype like Januzaj did
If you watch and follow properly you wouldnt be making this comparison to begin with. He could still not make it but its all down to his own mentality
