The Gospel of Caesar Augustus, & What It Tells Us About the
*_Gospel of the greco roman gaybag._*
“Gospel” is the English translation of the Greek word “euangelion” which means “news that brings great joy.”
When we hear this word today, our minds immediately tend to associate it with spirituality in general, or _*X*_tianity in particular, but originally, this word was political in nature.
In the Greco-Roman world, from the time of Alexander the Great and on into the Roman Empire, this word was used to refer to history-making, world-shaping reports of political, *MILITARY* , or societal victories.

    • @samfromisrael
      @samfromisrael 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

Example 1: The Battle of Marathon
The setting of that first marathon was a battle in 490 B.C. when Greece was invaded by Persia. Despite all odds, Greece managed to defeat Persia, and after the battle, Greece sent heralds to take the euangelion (proclamation of good news of *MILITARY* victory) out into every town and village in the country, to tell the people what had happened, and declare to them that they were free! Those heralds were “evangelists”.

      The Gospel of Caesar Augustus
An inscription found in Priene, in modern-day Turkey, referring to Caesar Augustus says: “the birthday of [Augustus] has been for the whole world the beginning of the gospel (euangelion) concerning him.” (Priene 150.40-41)
This inscription is found on a government building dating from 6 B.C. Here is more of what it says, which gives us insight into how they understood the “gospel” concerning Caesar Augustus:
The most divine Caesar . . . we should consider equal to the Beginning of all things . . . for when everything was falling (into disorder) and tending toward dissolution, he restored it once more and gave the whole world a new aura; Caesar . . . the common good Fortune of all . . . The beginning of life and vitality . . . All the cities unanimously adopt the birthday of the divine Caesar as the new beginning of the year . . . Whereas the Providence which has regulated our whole existence . . . has brought our life to the climax of perfection in giving to us (the emperor) Augustus . . .who being sent to us and our descendents as Savior, has put an end to war and has set all things in order; and (whereas,) having become (god) manifest /PHANEIS/, Caesar has fulfilled all the hopes of earlier times.
The “gospel” of Caesar Augustus was what we call today the Pax Romana, the age of peace in the Roman Empire which came about during this time, into which the *_gaybag_* was supposedly born.
Caesar Augustus in this inscription is declared to be: divine, savior, and the beginning of the good news for all people on Earth of his *MILITARY* victories.

‏‪0:04‬‏ I met three women who said they met Elvis Presley in a spaceship.
    Then it must be true.
Some minor comments that do not detract from the main reasoning of rabbi Tovia.
    1. We have no real way to "know" when exactly the Gospels were written just. Accepting the Documentary Hypothesis for the New Testament also forces you the accept the Graf - Wellhausen Hypothesis about the Torah which uses the same method.
    2. The ancient people, especially in the Hellenized and Roman sphere, had better hygiene than what rabbi Tovia presents in the video.
Nevertheless, this is not to refute the main claim of the rabbi about the incredulous narrative of the empty tomb as proof for Jesus' divinity (btw - Jesus' followers could have just taken his body while the guards slept, or maybe they bribed them, Jesus didn't have many followers according to Philo and Josephus who barely, if at all, mention him, so the Romans didn't really care. The myth may have started with this, or as rabbi Tovia says, may be a later fantasy just like the stories about Shabtai Tzvi, Elvis or the Lubavicher).

Hi. I like your post & just want to make some side comments.
European Christians were filthy. The black plague spread fastest among Christian Europeans because it was carried by fleas. If you kept the fleas down it wasn't transmitted as much. They had the added problem that it was common for families to take their farm animals indoors for the winter, & the people would live in a loft while the animals lived on the ground floor, which was often ground covered with straw to catch animal poo. The straw was a great breeding ground for rats & mice, & therefore, fleas.
Some of the pre-Christian cultures believed in bathing. Jews, despite the dryness of the middle east, had laws to wash your hands before eating, & when you wake up in the morning, & to do mikvah baths at required times. Jewish dietary laws require that you remove insects from food. Christian Europeans saw the Jewish community & the Druid community (the religion called Wicca by practitioners) didn't die in such high numbers, so they blamed Jews & "witches" for causing the plague. FWIW those lovely, high lace collars Queen Elizabeth wore were to catch the lice that fell from their hair so the lice wouldn't get into the rest of their clothes.
The regions where Roman & Greek cultures formed had lots more rain than the mideast, & lots more rivers & streams than the water available in Israel.
Pretty smart of G-d to require bathing in a region where water was scarce.

It is unknown how Eleazar ben Simon died. Days prior to the siege of Jerusalem, Eleazar ben Simon was betrayed by John of Gischala. According to Josephus, John sent a party to the Zealot stronghold in the Temple to offer a sacrifice before the coming festival of Passover. Yet when Eleazar and his Zealots opened the gates to permit entry, John's forces slaughtered the inhabitants of the temple while the Zealots tried to flee. Nothing is known of Eleazar's fate after this betrayal, except for the fact that Josephus mentioned him as still commanding the Zealots when they rejoined John in his fight against Simon bar Giora.

Maybe for Paul the tomb was empty just because Jesus´s body was transformed into a neumatic body and flied away? And therefore there was no need for the women or the disciples to discover the tomb, cause under that new shape Jesus could appear to them at any time and anywhere? It´s just an idea, I´m not an expert.

Some important notes for this wonderful clip-
    1. Even if it is said that there was an empty tomb, this is of course not evidence that Jesus rose from the dead, even the gospels say that Roman soldiers said that women or disciples of Jesus came and took him out of his tomb, obviously the gospels write that it is because the Jews gave them money to lie, but that is the claim of the gospels and who He said that the truth was precisely with the Jews? Maybe they just got the tomb of Jesus wrong? The gospels themselves also say that the women came to his grave to take him out of the grave and anoint him with perfumes, of course there is no logic in this. Maybe there was some crazy woman who went there and took him out of his grave?
    2. Although the Gospels say that Jesus appeared to his disciples in a physical form (as they saw him eat or touched him, etc.), but at first they themselves say that they saw a human being and did not think at all that it was Jesus, that is, he did not resemble Jesus at all, only later they "realized" that he was Jesus, the question is if it was Jesus who came out of his grave and walked the earth, how could it be that they did not recognize him? The gospels also say that Jesus "appeared" to them and then once again "disappeared" from them, meaning that it was not really his body, could it be that it was some - who disguised himself as Jesus and not really Jesus? The gospels also do not say that Jesus said to them "I am Jesus", it is also strange why he did not say this to them.
From this evidence and more even if we admit that the tomb was empty and the disciples of Jesus met someone who "understood" that he was Jesus, it is impossible to really know if it is really true that Jesus rose from the dead, needless to say that Jesus was "prophesied" that he would rise after 3 days and 3 nights but even according to them he rose after 2 Nights and not 3 nights, Paul and the gospels also wrote that it is written in the Bible that this is how we will know who the Messiah is, although it is not written anywhere, you see they lied if so who knows what else they lied about.

    • @bernieflores6350
      @bernieflores6350 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

The arguments that you are presenting to show that Paul and the gospel writers lied about the Resurrection is flawed. You assume that because Jesus appears to two of his disciples and then disappears in front of them somehow proves that Jesus never resurrected bodily despite the fact that the gospels affirm that he did rise bodily. You really need to broadened your understanding. If the gospels have in fact confirmed that he resurrected bodily then we don’t need to assume or believe that they lied about his bodily resurrection just because he was able to appear and disappear right in front of them. When Jesus was alive he was able to walk on water, think about that for a moment. You don’t need to be a ghost to walk on water. You just need to have the power of God with you. There are many examples from the New Testament of Jesus disappearing while he was still alive before the crucifixion. In John chapter 8 for example after Jesus said before Abraham was born I am. the crowd there wanted to stone him to death. But as the gospel of John says he slipped right out from them into the crowd. In other words he simply vanished into thin air while still alive. Even in the book of acts you have Nathaniel who spoke with the eunuch , it says that after the eunuch was baptized the spirit of God took Nathaniel away from the eunuchs sight and the eunuch never saw Nathaniel again. So broaden your mind Jesus always preformed great miracles. So appearing and disappearing in front of Jesus disciples would not be proof That the resurrection of Jesus in bodily form is false. It only proves that Jesus indeed did resurrect In bodily form and as some one who is alive again he is able to do the same things he did before he died which is preform miracles such as appearing and disappearing in bodily form not as a spirit.

The tomb was empty, Rav Singer, bc Yeshua was never in there to begin with.
Hashem would never have let Yeshua be crucified. That would be against Torah.
Stop believing the Greeks and their Gospels.
The Roman occupation and the greek exile were the same. The Greeks never left - they just changed uniforms.
Hashem allows the evil one to exist as this helps propel free will.
The true writer of the NT IS the Sa-tan.
The true writer of the Quran IS the Sa-tan.
The Sa-tan uses Christianity to engineer dissent, and it encourages the Jews to...
    1) Leave Judaism
    2) Embrace Christianity/ other religions
    3) Fall away from the One G-d
    4) Trash other Jews - including Yeshua
Once this becomes apparent, everything is illuminated.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The reasons the Temples were destroyed were ...
    Lashon Hara against Hashem
Lashon Hara against the Torah and His teachings.
    Lashon Hara against fellow Jews.
Once one understands this, Christianity and the NT makes perfect sense.
DO NOT speak Lashon Hara against any Jews - walking the earth or not - including Yeshua.
If Jews were correct in their Lashon Hara against Yeshua, then Hashem would have ushered in the Redemption already.
A Jew is fully capable of denying Christianity and all its teachings and trappings while simultaneously not destroying a fellow Jew's character.

Matthew is not the word of G-d so who cares? The focus is on Christianity because of the unrelenting attacks against Judaism by missionaries. If they quit trying to lead Jews into idolatry we wouldn't care what they believe.
Matthew, and all the gospels, were written a minimum of 40 years after the death of Jesus. John is into the second century. The writers were anonymous, didn't know Jesus or any of the original disciples and couldn't read or write Hebrew. Christian missionaries use Greek texts to attack our religion. You better believe we will defend our faith to the last.

      Psalms 71:20
Are you suggesting that it references Jesus because it talks about raising up from the earth? You have to read the entire Psalm. It also talks about the Lord supporting the psalmist in his age in years. This is typical Christian exegesis pulling out a single line from a Psalm or text that in no way shape or form is Messianic. And by the way, if it was about Jesus, It wouldn't have been raised from the Earth would it? It would have been taken out of the cave...
      Daniel 12: 2-3
So because it references a resurrection it is about Jesus? Once again, no. This refers to the end of days when the righteous are raised to everlasting life but the unrighteous are also raised to be ashamed and disgraced before they are utterly destroyed. I mean this one's not even close...
      Hosea 6:1-2
He (G-d) shall revive us! If it was about Jesus who is the us? Christians like this one because it has reference to a third day revival. Notice it doesn't say resurrect. Those to be revived are not dead.
      Isaiah 26:19
There will be a resurrection when the true Messiah comes to power. Corpses!!!! Not corpse. Christians use Messianic references to the raising of the Dead to link to Jesus.
      Psalm 16 v 8-11
Yikes. Read the first sentence of Psalm 16. A michtam of David! David extolling G-d.
      Jonah 1:17
There is no v 17 in Jonah 1 in the Hebrew. It is in the Christian versions. In the belly of the fish for 3 days and 3 nights. A little typology right? Homework assignment. Pick a gospel account. Count the days and nights in the make believe tomb. Not adding up are they?

There are so many explicit references to G_d being one and unambiguous declarations referring to G_d in the singular. Pity you have to rely on“3” angels here and “3” days there to claim a rock solid trinity doctrine which is really a flimsy and inadequate claim. Why don't you accept these explicit references to G_d just being one and there is no other? Rather you’re happy to swallow up the ambiguous and vague ones, which have no connection to G_d being 3 people. : /

@@paulc3307 It is true that the concept of a Triune God was not explicitly mentioned in the revelation to the ancient Israelites in the Torah. Even though you can see a complex Godhead in many places in the Torah (eg Daniel 7 13 and also 14).
God has a covenant exclusively with the children of Abraham in the Torah. Nowhere does the Torah mention saving the gentiles.
God makes a second covenant with gentiles in the new testament through the passover lamb of God - Jesus.

@@AdaraBalabusta - the testimony of the events being "witnessed by millions" comes from the Torah. A document can't confirm itself. There is evidence of a Hebrew connection to ancient Egypt (Moses' name, for example) and the Torah can be read as a refutation of the culture and religion of Egypt and similar ancient empires (the late Rabbi Lord Sacks wrote extensively about this). But, one could just as well say that the events of the Iliad were witnessed by tens of thousands of Hellenic soldiers who ultimately returned to their homes. There even seems to be a city of Troy that was conquered and burned at the same time. But that doesn't prove that there was a near invincible warrior named Achilles who was the child of a goddess and that Greek gods such as Poseidon and Apollo took part in the battles. FWIW, I'm a Jew who tries to be observant, davens in Orthodox minyanim, sent his kids to yeshiva and has a daughter, son-in-law and grandsons in Israel. I believe that the Torah in the form we have it in shul was revealed to the Jews by God, the Creator of the universe, Redeemer of the Jews and Giver of a moral code for all mankind with particular obligations for the Jews. I just believe that can't be objectively "proved" by the text of the Torah in the same sense, for example, that the Declaration of Independence and American Revolution can be proved. For that reason, although his work is often interesting, I believe Rabbi Singer errs when he takes cheap and nasty shots at Christians (calling them idolators, as if they sacrifice infants and pray to Ba'al, or saying their beliefs are irrational (not much more irrational than ours, IMHO, but rationality, while important, isn't the only standard (ask Job) ... unless one is a Greek philosopher)) . With respect to relations with Christians, I prefer the work of Orthodox rabbis such as Pesach Wolicki, who focuses on common ground and fellowship with Christians. IMHO that is not just the right thing to do but, after 10.07, the prudent thing. Who else, in this world, will ally with the Jews?

Every 500 years or so, historians have noted, the church undergoes significant change.
Your implied threat against the Jewish people is part of what I have observed in the neo-church. The neo-church pretends friendship to Israel (the country and the people). However, underneath the facade, the neo-church has the same goal of the worst of the crusaders: worship our idol or else.
I am well aware that a text cannot be used to prove the veracity of itself. That was my main critique of Strobel’s work. His arguments, further, relied upon circular reasoning.
My point in mentioning that the events related in Exodus had been witnessed by millions was that the events in Exodus and other places in Tanach were national events, not private or small group events.
The nt mentions several truly remarkable events about which nobody outside of the nt remarks.
I doubt very seriously that Jesus ever existed.
If Jesus did exist, I pity him. He was probably a Nazir whose followers deified him after his death.
If Jesus did exist, he was an ordinary man, conceived in the usual way. He was not the messiah because, per the nt. Jesus taught contrary to the Torah on dozens of occasions, which the messiah would never do.
Per the nt, Jesus sinned, but the text provides no evidence that he repented. The messiah might sin, being human; he would repent, though.

Improve ??? Of Ourse God Can forgive , but “Improve” ??? This is a lengthy text and my Hebrew is not Yet perfect !!! But you seem to take a militant view to this but I understand: 2Co 3:13 And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not stedfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:
2Co 3:14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.
This is an unfinished answer because im rusty !!! But soon ill cetch up (pun intended !! But i bless You in Yeshuas Name because i believe we both believe in the Same Elohim !!! ❤

Amazing how you call Paul a liar in your other videos, but now you suddenly want to accept his lack of talking about the empty tomb! Paul himself says in 2 Corinthians 5 that believers should not be focused on Christ according to His earthly fleshly life, but His glorious spirit body seated at the right hand of The Father. Paul was instructed by the glorified Savior from heaven. Praying for your eyes to be opened to your true Messiah. Jesus died for your sins and defeated death for all humanity!

Paul very likely couldn't read or speak Hebrew. The claim that he was a student of Gamliel is laughable. He claims to be a Pharisee and can't read the language of Tanahk? By the way, he claims to be of the Tribe of Benjamin but elsewhere he claims to be a Herodian which makes him an Idumean. Acts has him a Roman citizen. Three separate claims of identify and none are compatible...

Is there any precedence for someone being physically raised from the dead in the Tanach? What is the proof of their resurrection? Whether or not Jesus was physically raised from the dead and ascended to heaven I don't think really mattered to the Nazarene Jews. What did matter to them, was his life example (Torahly righteous living) and what he (as the expected Prophet "like unto Moses") taught.
It's an interesting phenomenon that in all of the Nazarene Apostle Peter's Jewish teachings found in the Clementine Literature (and there is a lot) on the resurrection of the righteous (and the unrighteous) to their respective judgments, Peter does not speak as to the physical resurrection and ascension of Jesus, and Peter only mentions the crucifixion just one time, briefly.
Peter doesn't mention the R and A of Jesus to his Jew and Gentile mixed audiences. Perhaps it was a known fact and so it didn't need mentioning. What was more important to the Nazarene Jewish Apostles, was the teachings of Jesus, that "if" followed, would ensure the righteous Gentiles a place in the resurrection into the future Messianic Kingdom. The Nazarene Apostles' disposition was that the Jews themselves had the Laws and teachings of Moses, which if followed faithfully, it would ensure them a place in the resurrection of the righteous Jews. Paulinism subverts that...
To those 12 Nazarene Apostles at the time (and the thousands of Jews who witnessed the teachings and miracles of Jesus (as the 2nd Moses)), did they really need an "empty" tomb to solidify their belief in Jesus as the "True Prophet" and "once and future" Messiah....after all of the miracles they had witnessed?

Jesus become Messiah only toward Messianic Jews therefore only One hundred and forty-four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel were sealed because Jewish religious leaders such as Tovia Singer much like Pharisees and Sadducees in the past who rejected Yeshua Ha Nazri Wu Melech Ha Yehudim.
So when Yeshua Ha Nazri Wu Melech Ha Yehudim said to them, “Watch out! Guard yourselves against the hametz of the P’rushim and Tz’dukim,” The teaching of Tovia Singer much like the hametz of the P’rushim and Tz’dukim in the past.
"Many are called, but few are chosen." Many Jewish people are called to be back establishing Country of Israel, but few are chosen to follow Yeshua Ha Nazri Wu Melech Ha Yehudim.
(Tovia Singer believes in Tanakh and Talmud, but Christians believe in Tanakh and Gospel. So Be It, Let It Be.)
Even those Moslem Scholars told that ALLAH (ٱللَّٰه) as The Moon God was one of 360 Arabian Idols at Kaabah before Muhammad SAW was born. Later, Muhammad SAW and his followers able to manage ALLAH (ٱللَّٰه) the Moon GOD becoming the Champion of the Arabian Idol Competition, but doesn't make ALLAH (ٱللَّٰه) to be the real GOD because ALLAH(ٱللَّٰه) is still merely Substance as Arabian Idol.
If you know about GOD particle, doesn't make the substance is the true GOD. They just make a false claim because it is still merely a Substance as particle.
If those false teachers unable to read יהוה properly, should Jewish people follow their lectures? Therefore Hidden agendas from the textbooks of western government actually are against pure logic as political correctness for example: Isa Al Masih is the same person of Jesus Christ, ALLAH (ٱللَّٰه) is the same of YHWH (יהוה) with intention of misleading religious people. Persons in the western government who arranged the hidden agendas could be atheists who don't understand TANAKH, GOSPEL and AL QUR'AN.
