Russ and George are two different players I don’t think one year is enough time to really gauge their potential together. An extra year will go along way especially since they will be getting Roberson back next year to help George defensively. His lost this year was very crucial he could of minimized the damage Mitchell was doing.

What Skip is saying is probably a true assessment of Paul George and a role better suited for him, but there's no reason for PG13 to accept that as his fate when half the teams in the league would love to have him as their #1. The sad thing about OKC - and media members like Shannon - is they undervalue Steven Adams. If anything, that's the real reason PG should leave: OKC still encourages the worst in Westbrook - even though it cost them KD. Now they're wasting Steve's time for the same reason: Steve's got excellent footwork. He's got surprisingly good touch - he could actually be a quality three point shooter with the right mechanics. And has anyone in OKC taken notice that Steve's actually a very talented passer? He plays with a clear mind, and sees things unfold - despite being forced to rush getting rid of the ball because he's surrounded by ball hogs - especially Russ.
