I like the implication that all Kais come from the demon realm. As if there's some kind of process or test that they go through where they're granted the ability to watch over the other realm. Also, I wonder if it'll ever be answered how the Supreme Kai becomes life linked to Beerus. I doubt it'll be directly answered since Goku and the others don't know him yet but maybe there's a ritual of some kind. Also regarding Shenron, I like to think that he's just making stuff up as he goes. The most they could've done with Buu is to just wish him somewhere far away, but that's not really solving the problem. He literally teleported to heaven to kill dead people! Lastly, Buu can scream so hard that he rips holes through dimensions, meaning he can just scream a portal back to Earth.

To be fair before Daima it was pretty consistent that if you have a high enough power level you can literally just "NOPE" a wish. The only thing I can think is old Namek guy supercharged Shenron, but that is just headcannon at this point.

Toriyama's writing style is literally goofy and full of plotholes, lol. You just gotta ignore it. That's why I always say Dragon Ball isn't the best series when it comes to writing, details and consistency, lol. Toriyama be writing in airplane mode.😩
