How To check engine VVT oil pressure solenoid. In video you can saw 14 year old oil pressure solenoid, never cleaned and checked. We show how to clean and check it. Check the VVT oil pressure solenoid condition once a year.
Step by step how to VVT oil pressure solenoid check:
1.Solenoid valve visual check (check no damage and dirty)
2.Clean solenoid valve from dirty and metal swarf
3.Check solenoid valve Ohm resistance (good condition resistance from 8-12 Ohm)
4.Check solenoid valve ground
5.Check solenoid valve work condition (with 12V battery or other tool)
If some of this steps not good replace solenoid valve with new one.

That whole engine needs to be stripped and cleared of metal filings.. That's crazy

Yo brother, I’ve got a 2008 Accord 3.5l V6 This morning after starting up the car everything came on smoothly then after about 2 seconds of being cranked up I got a check engine light pop back up and then began to hear a pretty rough uneven idle. Once that began to happen I cut it off. Any wild guess what it could be?
