Yea, you sucked me in Becky. Happy bday to me (8/5) and thanks for the discount on my bday gift to me! 🤣❤️🙌
Is the camping and making the meals vlog still coming ??❤
@@privevooriedereen3129 th-cam.com/video/PNcdSCyIH6Y/w-d-xo.html Here you go :)
@@AcreHomestead o wow i totally missed this.. i looked the video preparing and its was like 40min how could i have missed it THANKS!
Made in has 25% off right now. I just ordered the griddle, press and lid and saved $88. I have been looking for a “blackstone” to use on my Weber grill and inside. Thank you so much from South Carolina! ❤
Keep your yeast in the freezer. It’s fine to grab it and put it directly into the baked goods! I’m a baker and go through a pound of yeast every 2 weeks but I still keep it in a jar in the freezer. I just found a pound block in the back of the freezer from 2022 and it was still perfect!! The products rose nice and fluffy.
I do that too. I had yeast that was 2 years old and still active.
Yup. I do that too. But you can still keep it too long. Or maybe mine was pretty dead before I put it in there.
Not supposed to proof instant yeast, but how else can you know if it should be replaced?
She used to! As Becky is the reason I keep mine in the freezer 😅 from one of her earlier videos x
@@bettyallen1 I put mine in the freeze right after opening. I pour the bag into a mason jar and put and lid and ring in it. It can be vacuum sealed, but I go through mine too fast for it to matter.
Hey Becky, a trick I learned when making French toast is to hold the “next” piece of bread under the one you just soaked as you carry it over to your pan so you don’t drip everywhere❤️
The simplest solutions really are the most brilliant, lol. 😂 🤯
Presoak the bread (as in bread pudding) and it will soak everything up and no dripping.
Oh, nice!
Becky, you were born to do this. You are so natural and so knowledgeable. Then, by adding fun to it, it becomes the complete package. Thank you for being you. 😊🎉
💯 ❤
@@cynthiafisher9907 and so real. ❤️
Congratulations on getting the sponsors I know that it's a big deal in the TH-cam world. And we know that if you like a product you're going to totally promote whether you get paid or not.
My seven year old daughter said your personal mini quiches are so cute. Then she went on to say, “ she’s so good at stuff!” I agree!!!!
They all look so amazing! A little trick I learned while making bagels is to cut little squares of parchment paper, sprinkle each square with cornmeal. After shaping the bagels put each one on its own individual square of parchment. It's much easier to transfer them into the water as they slide right off the paper into the water without deflating them.
Happy Cooking! 😊
@@cynthiafisher9907great tip, I just saw those at dollar tree!
Such a good idea! The question is, what do you put the boiled bagels on? I tried a cookie sheet with parchment paper and that was a watery mess. My bagels always come out deformed so I look forward to trying this trick.
For my breakfast sandwiches eggs, I use a muffin top pan. Crack each egg into each section poke the yoke and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Perfect size for English muffins and biscuits.
I've seen that somewhere and it looked like a great idea. I don't like fried eggs so I make a sheet pan of scrambled eggs in the oven and then cut it into squares. Or, if it's a bigger pan and the eggs are thinner, I cut in strips the right width, but twice as long as needed and just put one strip, folded in half, per sandwich.
@@Lucinda_Jackson i like that idea. That should work well for breakfast sandwiches larger than muffin or biscuit. Thanks for the idea!
I could not believe the video finished so quickly, even though it was almost an hour. So entertaining and now I want one of everything you made...LOL. Becky you are just wonderful and a true inspiration.
Hell, honey, I want TWELVE of everything!! Blaze On!!!!
I can't believe I lived my life for so long without doing stuff like this! I now nearly always have prepped breakfast items and some easy freezer meals on hand. It just so happens that I was planning to make more of your pizza dough for my freezer this weekend too!
I’ve found it helpful to put the shaped bagels on a sheet of parchment paper, then cut it so each bagel is on a separate square, then you can just put the whole parchement sheet with the bagel in the boiling water and you don’t have to worry about ruining the shape by grabbing at the dough!
Thank you for always being authentic. Even when your videos are being sponsored (which is fantastic! Way to go! You so deserve it ❤) you tell us about the product in such a natural way, it doesn't seem scripted. You actually use the product and do your research. I feel good knowing if you recommend something, it's because you truly believe in the product and what it stands for. Thank you for being you! ❤❤❤❤ and I hope you get many many many more sponsorships from the brands that you love and trust. ❤❤❤
I just have to say, thank you for not completely segmenting your video with ads. I usually skip through ads but the way you incorporate them seems much more natural to the conversation and what you’re already doing. A breath of fresh air for sure
I keep my yeast in the freezer. I always bloom it before I throw in all the other ingredients (especially the salt). I've had my yeast for a couple of years, and it still works.
Thank you Becky I look forward to your video everyday . Its lovely to see someone so cheerful and enjoying their life. I even watch the gardening even though I am no gardener. Thank you for being so lovely even when there must be days when you dont feel like it. XX
Oh Becky, I have my dads’s mother’s rolling pin too and I just love it. She used it to make so many things and my dad wanted me to have it since I cook and bake so much. It’s a treasure!
No apron? Living on the wild side!!!! Also, as you shop at Trader Joe’s, they always have dried wild blueberries. I use them in my homemade granola. You’ll love them. Very yummy.❤️
Girl you are an amazing person!!! I wish I had your energy
And stamina !!!! You have taught me so many wonderful recipes and skills and I think you have to be one of the sweetest humans on the planet!!! Keep being you lady and keep feeding your family and enriching your life!!!!
Oh, me, too !
Agreed 🥰
Becky, the bravest woman known, cooking in a perfect white shirt.❤ love these meal prep days🎉🎉
Right?! I'd have stuff all over it immediately! 😅
😂😂😂
With Blueberries lol I cant even make a grilled cheese sandwich without getting messed up lol
Agree I always get my white shirts dirty minutes into cooking.
I almost died with the blueberries. Wear an APRON Becky!!!😂
Love it…here’s a tip…buy large clear plastic bags and use them over and over to place your pans of formed dough into to raise your dough…no wrestling with plastic wrap, creates a wonderful humid environment in Sid the bag, and they are large enough that they never touch the dough…works like a charm…
I use clear plastic shower caps! Same idea!
Yay for spending the day with Becky!! My favorite kind of day!! 💖💖💖
my kinda day too,,,yaayyy
Hi Becky. Love watching you when you eat something.
Your eyes are very expressive when you try your cooking. Thank you for your recipes.
What a wonderful Young lady You are Becky, Your family is blessed to have you and as you them. They said !the way to a mans heart is through the belly, i believe , the way to any ones heart is through the belly, You remind me alot of myself when my children were little, because my work was a shift work, i use to fill 2 fryzers with prep meal for my children, i cook everything from scratch and fresh. i believe children need 3 important things so they can do well in school, 3 square good meals a day, 10 to 12 hour sleep, and a good play time outside in the nature.
God bless you and your family❤❤❤❤❤
Your family is so fortunate to have you making so many delicious goodies ✨. I hope they know what a gem they have in you. Thank you🌺
Hi Becky, in 2021 our local store had hundreds of packs of active dried yeast on sale, nobody else was buying them, so i did.......I've kept them in my freezer and have been using them, from what i've heard, if you freeze your yeast it can last YEARS.......I've never had a problem with any of my breads, rolls, pizza dough, rising at all.......matter of fact, just made 24 english muffins, 6 pizza doughs, just yesterday, from the yeast dated 2021, all came out beautiful
Yes do away with Teflon. Love your high-energy cooking, gardening, entertaining and home-making.
Becky, since I had new granite put in my kitchen recently, I can tell you that the company said you can put a hot pan on granite and it won’t scorch, but you shouldn’t put a hot pan on quartz counters because heat can scorch the resins in it and leave marks. Hopefully that helps out! I love watching your videos. You’re amazing!❤
H😢ow to get recipes
Check the yeast packaging but I am pretty sure it should be refrigerated after opening. If you know you won’t be using it for a while or you have an abundance, you can freeze it. It is better to use at room temperature so measure out what you need and let it sit out to warm up.
I was going to comment the same thing. I buy yeast in bulk and freeze till I need it!
@@hkschrock93 I didn’t know I could freeze it until I read the packaging! I bought it in bulk last time I bought!
If yeast doesn’t bubble, it’s dead. And don’t add salt till later because salt can kill yeast from activating.
I buy yeast buy the pound. I keep a small jar in the fridge and the rest I vacuum seal in a big brown mason jar and stick it in the freezer. But it should absolutely be kept in the fridge at least.
@@jojobren4915 great idea to vacuum seal it in a mason jar! Thanks!
Your videos are such a welcome friend to acompany me as I do art and its so calming. Bless you.
I warmed up one of my "Becky" inspired frozen English muffin breakfast sandwiches this morning WITH honey mustard! So yummy! I wouldn't have ever thought of adding that to my breakfast sandwiches if you hadn't mentioned it a few months ago! Thanks Becky!
I use a bit of sugar and cinnamon for French toast. As a kid my family only made it that way. French family.
Same. And pumpkin pie spice (which is just a mix of cinnamon and other warm spices)!
Oh yeah, absolutely!!
Not me yelling for Becky to watch out for the spilled blueberries against her pretty white shirt! 😂😂😂
Somehow it always bothers me when Becky doesn't have her apron on!
And the floor
Yep me too lol. Good thing Josh likes cleaning floors.🤪
We all love watching the dogs see if she drops anything 😊. Becky you are one of my favorite TH-cam channels. You seem like one of my sisters.
She’s so graceful, no way I could do all that in a white top and not ruin it.
I've been meal prepping breakfasts for years and it's a godsend on school mornings. We even go so far as to sort everything into one-week bins that live in the garage freezer. Prep 12 each of 5 items in a few hours and you don't have to deal with weekday breakfast for three months!
Becky, there is an older gentleman named Kevin Lee Jacobs, who has a channel I really think you would love his way of making English muffins. It’s very quick and I believe it’s less steps and they turn out so light and airy. I think you and Josh would love them! Thank you for inviting us to spend the day with you. It was wonderful as always.😉🙏👩🍳
Love Kevin!
Thanks for the suggestion! I'll have a look at his English muffins. I do like them, but frequently just make English muffin bread, instead, out of laziness. 😂
Yes you can put hot on quartz.
Becky I love your ideas and videos. I finally found your Bosch dough mixer , I'm in the UK and had to get it from Germany, I'm hoping to use in on Tuesday. Can you tell me what size bread tins you used for your sandwich loaf, ty x
Thanks for the recommendation, even though it wasn't specifically intended for us, I'm sure you won't mind us using it.😊
Perfect timing!! Just sitting down to lunch by the pool, now it's even better that I get to spend it with a video from Becky!
Me too!
Holy Crap Becky!!!!! 684 THOUSAND SUBSCRIBERS???? WOW!! How far you have come AND very well deserved. I am happy to say I've been with you from the start and couldn't be PROUDER! I've loved your videos from the beginning and am so incredibly glad so many viewers love them too!! Congratulations Friend!!! Many (more!!) blessings...
Well Becky, you got me. My bday is tomorrow (8/5) and I’m tired of just watching you use your griddle, I now will be using mine with you! Happy bday me! Thanks for the discount!
@@cynthiafisher9907thank you very much 👍👍
Becky this video was amazing! Trust you to inspire me to make flavored English muffins! Why haven’t I thought of that?
Also I find that storing my yeast in the freezer prolongs the life of it by so much! I bought mine in bulk at Costco and I just refill one of the little jars that I had before and keep all of it in the freezer. Take out the little jar when I need it but keep the large portion in deep freeze. I’ve had the same yeast for over a year and have zero problems getting foamy yeast mixtures in 5 minutes. Thanks again for the inspiration!
Of course this is what I'm watching with it being 102 degrees outside!! Great recipes!! Thank you!
OMGosh ... I have no idea how you ended up in my feed, but I LOVE YOU! What a fantastic channel. I don't cook nor do I bake, but I LOOOOVE to eat, so watching you prepare all this amazing food is mesmerizing. Well done!
I loooooove baking. It's so cool. I am glad that I tied some new recipes this year, including new bagel and English muffins. I don't feel intimidated by them anymore.
Sweet.
The wind chimes in the background are *amazing.
I've noticed I enjoy your breakfast and dessert videos more than any others. There's just something about breakfast foods that brings comfort. And I think everyone loves dessert. So I guess that makes sense.
It started out as something just I would say, but now when I say I want a Becky kitchen, my friends know exactly what I am talking about ! I absolutely love your videos.
Love how you prep so many different things in so little time (although it probably takes longer than it appear). Juggling so many things at once with so little mess is amazing.
If I had half your drive, I could rule the world! Thank you again for another amazingly enjoyable video. It's like I'm having coffee with a friend. God bless!
the pups in the background are adorable
You are an inspiration! You are doing what I would love to do for my family. Good meals made from scratch that we can have on hand in the freezer .
Thank you for not cutting your videos to make everything seem like it's always perfect. I love seeing how you overcome little mishaps and how you talk through your decision making. I would love to see how you store your ingredients and have your kitchen set up. It seems to make everything a bit easier when trying to be efficient with your time.
I am sure you probably have a video like that in your history!
Anyway, God Bless you!
For the second time my sister has said to tell you she loves you. Let me explain..I see great ideas for meals here and then I make some of them. I (60s) live with my sister and my old man. Hence the love🙂
Thanks for making me very popular around here!
I have made English Muffins using a thin batter that you spoon into rings. Because the dough is thinner it creates bubbles while cooking which gives the nooks and crannies typical of English Muffins. You can also use the same rings to cook your eggs in to get the same size as your muffins. It’s a personal preference of mine to scramble the eggs. I’ve been binge watching your channel since I discovered it about a week ago. I LOVE your garden! I am also in the PNW so our gardens are the same challenges. (Gold Bar, WA) I’ve never been able to get sweet potatoes to any decent size, melons either.
Becky, it would be cool to see you do an old fashioned pie recipe taste testing. Flapper pie, vinegar pie, buttermilk pie, custard pie, sour cream raisin pie, shoofly pie. Very interested to see what you think of these recipes and a taste test with you, Josh, your mom& dad and Josh's mom & dad would be so fun!
Thank you Becky, I love watching you cook ❤❤❤❤
I use notes on my phone to make a grocery list. I add things I think of at the time straight onto it and thats how I never forget the things I'm out of. I love it. So handy❤
This is unrelated, but reminded me of something my then 4 year old granddaughter said to me. She had a list of suggestions for Christmas gifts that my husband and I could give her. Since it was months before Christmas, I said that I would try to remember. She then said I could make a note on my phone! These littles are so smart 😂😅
Yes!! My grocery list on my phone was a game changer. 😂
I use Notes on my phone for EVERYTHING! But I usually make my grocery list in the app of the grocery store I plan to shop at.
@@Lucinda_Jackson thats also a good idea actually😁
The hour passed so quickly! Great recipes, thank you Becky ❤
I want to say that I admire you, Becky, for your excellent ability to cook and bake in a white shirt. A white shirt on me during my day in the kitchen would look like a freshly made tie dye shirt. 😂👚
Becky, you're absolutely awesome! Such an inspiration in the kitchen, showing us all how to save time and deliver healthy, nutritious meals, made with love. May God grant you continued grace to minister in such a way🙂
Becky you have inspired me so very much! I have a small garden bigger this year than last as last year it was all in containers. This year it’s a couple of raised beds with a few things in ground. I also have chickens that just started laying and you have now inspired me to get into making bread but that’s a fall/winter project as it’s way to hot without air conditioning to bake right now. Thank you for all you do to share how you do things so I get inspired to be more self reliant
You are so inspiring to everyone. I wish I had been given the opportunity to learn as much as you when I was your age.
Basically, I had to figure it out myself because I did not have an Internet or anyone that was interested in helping me learn except a lady at the daycare on my ex-husband was at the military and she taught me a few things but, not everything. I am grateful for her , as to what she taught me
I hope more young people can learn as much as you have at your age.
I’m 60 and thankful to have learned as much as I have and to have learned so much from TH-cam . Thank you for your teaching skills. I’ve learned a few things from you..
My most favorite video was when you made bagels the first time. I was so proud and excited for your accomplishment.
I love your videos Becky! I’ve been watching you since you first started your TH-cam channel! Hope you have a great rest of your day!
Thank you so much!!
I have too. I've been here since the first video. Love your channel Becky 🎉 😊 🐈⬛🖤
I wish I'd found her sooner! But I'm still working my way through the older ones to pick up what I missed!
@@Lucinda_JacksonThat's what I'm doing, I believe I have almost caught up with all the older videos. Love her videos and those Blueberry bagels, oh my goodness!!!
The windchimes in the background sound so beautiful
Wow, Becky! A month of breakfasts for you and Josh in one day! Amazing 🤩
I like how you challenge yourself to make new things.💗 I want to try my hand at the homemade bagels you made last time. I love homemade pastry, bread etc.
I've never had success with using fresh bread for french toast. I aways prefer slighlty stale bread for that. Otherwise it gets mucky.
Im so happy you did this video, my daughter starts high school (first week of september) youve inspired me to make a bunch of essentially grab n go foods for her. Thank you! Could you maybe do a school snack/lunch video?
Hi Becky, I have a tip for you for French Toast. I add a little sugar about a teaspoon to each egg and vanilla.
I love using this batter for Monte Criso sandwiches. Make a sandwich you love, say ham and cheese or turkey and cheddar or my favorite American cheese then dip in batter and grill. When done I slather with butter and drizzle maple syrup over my grilled American cheese version.
So good!
When you said Hey Siri, my Siri paused your video and asked me what I wanted in grams. So funny.
Mine, too!
Baking yeast breads has always intimidated me. You have give me the courage to try. Thank you for your easy brake down of the recipe. Enjoy watching you.
Fantastic breakfasts; your family is so fortunate to eat these yummy meals! Thanks & blessings to all 🤗🇨🇦
Everything you made looks so delicious! Great job! I am impressed!
Love hearing your windchimes. Really watching you be creative in your kitchen!
Amazing meal prep ideas! Great job, Becky!❤❤
Unrelated to cooking, but may I comment on how pretty your hair is today! No idea how always look so put together given how busy you are 💕
Aww!
Becky, I enjoy watching you cook. You are a very neat & clean cook like myself, some of the women on the internet are very sloppy about cooking and sloppy with the food they are preparing They need to have pride in what they are making. Have a blessed day.
I have found doing a couple tablespoons of yeast per 5-6 cups of flour works out pretty good for me, I keep my yeast in the fridge it seems to help it not go old on you so fast. My hubs love's english muffins I need to give them a try. Try adding a little bit of sugar or honey and cinnamon to your french toast mixture it makes it so yummy, my kids always loved french toast.
Quartz is indestructible. You are good to go!❤
Keeping the yeast in the fridge (instead of the drawer behind you) helps it stay fresher for longer. Instructs to refrigerate and to use within 3-4 months of opening, but I've been able to use up to a year post-opening if kept refrigerated. Then again I live in a desert so probably helps with that duration lol
Thank you for sharing your baking with us ! ❤
Love the flowers on the shelf.
Bagels look fantastic Becky! Doesn’t matter if there flat as long as there not dry❤❤
I would love to get your Dijon mustard recipe please 🎉🎉🎉
They look perfect. I love a flatter bagel.❤ I am definitely making those bagels, actually everything. My love language is feeding/cooking and I love sending my kids home with extra foods.
ANOTHER one of my favorite videos!!!💕💕💕
I loved this video Becky! Thank you! Awesome!
Loved this baking video, I made my grandmother’s Ukrainian piroshki recipe today that she used to make me growing up in Ukraine, so I was in my kitchen baking, too and it’s so fun to learn new tricks and techniques from your videos ❤ I’m also more of a cook than a baker yet wanting to learn more each time I’m in the kitchen.
Coffee creamer in the French toast custard is a game changer, just a couple of tablespoons.
My aunt was a geeat cook and could make something out of nothing. She would freeze just about everything. Just wanted to say if you have extra eggs from your chickens, you can freeze a couple at a time without the shell. Use them when baking or cooking. 😊 Blessings to you and yours. ❤
I don’t think I’ve ever seen Becky work in the kitchen without an apron!!
Everything looks amazing, Becky!
I must say I love waiting for your taste test to see your eyes pop.
Your eyes tell me that the food is amazing!!
What a good time we had in the kitchen!!🥰
Hello, Lovely Friend! Your new pan worked great for the eggs!
Thanks Becky for giving my Sunday a wonderful experience!❤
Omgggg!!! You are my Meal Prep HERO!!! As much as we love English muffins, I've never thought I could make them myself. I'm going to try my hand at them and the bagels next week. Thanks so much for sharing.😊
Oh my gosh! Everything looks amazing!!!! What a great, productive day you had!!!! Thanks for sharing!!!!
everything looks delicious! thanks for letting us hang out while you cooked.
Wow Becky you outdid yourself once again 😊. Everything looks amazing and what a wonderful feeling it is to have created delicious items for yourself and your family. Sending you blessings . Have a great day .
I am always impressed by all your baking knowledge! Bread, bagels, english muffins?! What can't she bake?!
This is probably one of my favorite visits with you. So relaxing and I always learn something I didn’t know.
Everything looks so delicious! I pour my eggs into my cookie cutter on the griddle until it starts to set then move to the next😊
I would love to see a video of just all your kitchen equipment, from reusable bags to mixers and everything in between!!!😊
I started using the same honey mustard on my breakfast sandwiches - biscuits, croissants, bagels and it IS delicious! Glad I saw your tip in another video.
