Why does the universe brings people together to only tear them apart?
The only way I can think o' to describe it is from the Yiddish quote "Man Plans, and God Laughs.” Despite our most careful planning, the Road of Life is unpredictable. We might have driving and destination strategies but scenic new vistas might beckon us or unforeseen roadblocks can deter us. Our best-laid plans in life can be upended by unexpected changes.
For me both on a feelin'/emotional, or in my case emotionless, but personal level it feels like a "Sleepwalking Life" (Scanners) and life will "Bend me, break me anyway you need me breaking down is easy all I want is you" (Garbage), BUT, if you're strong enough "I've got nothing to prove, ain't got nothing to lose if you need someone to use, I can take the abuse" (INXS), might sound philosophical, might sound cynical toward life, but that's my perspective of a close enough answer to yer question.
Life is just a declining path that we fill with memories to forget where we heading eventually.
Was wondering the same thing. I guess that's how universe works in it mysterious way...

Not surprised that this movie isn't really talked about like the fault in our stars. It's a shame this one looks way better, of course in Hollywood tho it is expected to be at least for one of the main characters to be known. How annoying -_- this movie deserves to be known.

This is almost too sad to listen to. Life is not fair. It can seem really cruel at times. But we still hope and dream. This is a song/video. But it seems so real. Because it is. Some go through this everyday. We go on. Life goes on. Still seems so unfair. How can we be happy, when they are sad, with broken hearts? I know you care. That's what keeps us human. Every soul shares the pain of living. No one gets a perfect life without pain. How we respond to the pain tells our personal story of our soul. Everyone who reads this has a personal story of their own soul. There is trouble ahead. But I know you care. The young among us are wiser than most think. They care about love and justice. And they are for the most part "color blind". That is a good thing. They may save us all from the ruin after all.

Trust me, unless you've read the book you'll never feel that shattering pain that comes along while listening to this song. I always took this song for another one about dying love or ending relationship, really beautiful and emotional but nothing special. My father left us one year ago for another woman, we were really close and even though I was 19 it really hit me hard. When I listened to this song again I realised how it fits perfectly with what I felt that time and still feel right now. Yesterday i found out that the song is actually about Ellies father who left them when she was little.

Have you watched any of the voting in the past, what, 15-20 years? It's become highly politicised now. Neighbours voting for one another and blocks of countries doing likewise. It's a farce now. Even if the UK has the best song in the contest, which hasn't happened very often since our last winner (Katrina and the Waves?), we won't win it. Chuck in the perception that the UK is seen as ''anti Europe'' (true or not doesn't matter), which will put voters off us, and I can't see us winning it in the foreseeable future. Mind you, you did say earlier that we had never won the Eurovision. Odd comment.

This film didn't dress cancer up like TFIOS, this is quite an accurate depiction after watching my best friend lose his life to it, which was nice that it felt real, and not glamourised.

This.. 💖 I had a bone marrow transplant I was with a guy for 5 years he come to see me in hospital every weekend until towards the end he stopped... he'd found someone else. This is true word for word it's like it was wrote for me. He cared he just couldn't cope. I miss him everyday. For the first 6 months everytime the door went I shuffled out to the landing to see if it was him. It never was. That was 4 years ago. He still hasn't messaged to see if the treatment worked. It hasn't. Needs to be done again. ✌️
