The fact that the final Agni Kai was 22 on the list is insulting
It's criminal honestly. The twin climaxes of book three really cements the storytelling that TLA wanted to pull off throughout the whole show. Zuko's story was almost as important as Aang's, and that fight is equally tense and well presented as Aang vs Ozai. It's a unique feature of TLA that is rarely seen in other stories and was executed flawlessly.

Korra really did deliver some of the best fighting sequences consistently despite a bumpy story
Regardless of where each battle is placed based on personal opinions, I think we can all unanimously agree Avatar has such an amazing talent of making each battle look like absolute eye candy.

Number 38 was also special in that Katara offered to heal Iroh, despite still being on different sides and having barely any interaction with him previously

Zuko's grandson Iroh is proof that the fire sages weren't totally wrong about the outcome of uniting Sozen's bloodline with Roku's bloodline, it just didn't go as what Azulon and Ozai had hoped.

I wish we could have seen this without the rules, like Hama vs Katara, The Last Agni Kai (which I was expecting because how important would have been if Azula became fire lord). I missed the Team Avatar vs Earth Kingdom or Toph at the Earth Rumbler, Team Avatar vs Swampbenders, Appa vs Jabali, Zuko vs Jet, The Serpent Pass fight, Aang vs Yakone etc etc

Battle of the drill is my favorite...I rewatch it a lot. What stands out for me is the last moment with Aang with the bolder/rock..the final blow. It just gets me excited

I remember as a kid when avatar 1st came out, how hooked I was on the show. I'm glad that people still love the show today and that newcomers are enjoying the content that it brings. It always warms my heart to see one of my beloved shows get so recognized even today by so many people.

I’m not gonna lie, when I watched the finale of ATLA for the first time, I preferred the Agni Kai to Aang’s fight with Ozai. The finale battle wasn’t good to me until Aang entered the avatar state & then proceeded to calm down enough to take Ozai’s bending. Zuko and and Azula’s fight was so tragically beautiful.
I feel like a battle that should have been included was Korra vs Tarrlok. It is a one-on-one fight but it's very important. We learn Tarrlok can bloodbend (even without a full moon) and Korra gets kidnapped afterwards
Not to mention it's a great fight

What about when Lin & Tenzin's kids were fighting off Amon's forces on Air Temple Island? That was a crazy battle that had a sad ending

Haven’t finished the video yet. I know it’s your list and you mentioned you wouldn’t be putting most Agni kais on here, but I do hope to see Zhao vs Zuko on here. While it’s pretty low stakes and not animated particularly well, it was my opinion super important for teaching us about Zukos true character. It’s one of the first real character beats we get from him

i find it funny some people think aang getting this last second power to take bending away was a cop out, but at least it felt like it was something the avatar could do, yeah a giant lion turtle taught him the power but it was great that aang stuck to his belief that he would not kill no matter what and with that patience came the power to take away bending

Season 1 Korra gets airbending out of nowhere even Amon comments on the asspull
Season 2 Jinora out of nowhere at least they admitted that it was an asspull this time
Season 3 Korra could not even beat Zaheer and had to be bailed out by the airbenders
Season 4 Korra blocks a spirit canon Kuvira is forgiven for being a worse dictator than Ozai because her parents left her and Korrasami is so subtly shoehorned in that they had to clarify it on twitter and then theese two assclowns have the adacity to claim that they felt that Korrasami felt right and that they werent pakdering with obvious bait

I mostly agree with this list. But it especially makes me happy to see The Battle of the Colossus so high on the list since it's one of my favorite battles in the series. There's so much going on. There's high stakes, and we get to see some kickass bending from everyone. What I thought was especially cool was the fact that we got to see so many earthbenders together and see the subtle differences in their bending styles. Korra did some great waterbending as well, and her fight with Kuvira in the Colossus itself was fun.

So much intensity I remember being a kid and watching this for the first time I was only you like 13 now I'm an adult realize how much the the Avatar franchisement to me even to this day I still come here sometime to time to see what's new especially with the rumors of Paramount Plus expanding on the Avatar universe and Netflix is live action version of Avatar I know the movie with m .night Sherman on was horrible I know I watched it as $20 and 2 hours of my life I will never get back, still it never diminished my love for this series I'll always be have a place in my heart and I'll forever be a fan of Avatar.

Haven't watched this video yet, but I absolutely LOVE that scene. And isn't Aang the first Avatar (that I know of) that bended all of the elements at the SAME time??!!! He is definitely the most powerful in my opinion. Or maybe that is just nostalgia talking!

I think the Airbender genocide shouød have been higher, as we see Gyatso's corpse surrounded by dozens of fire nation soldiers. He must surely have put up a fight.

Ok, im sorry. Kyoshi's fight against Xu Ping An on the lei tai should have been #1 or #2. Xu Ping An was the original Ozai. And Ozai was never the king of Pandemu. Kyoshi single-handedly destroyed the Yellownecks right then and there.

The air nomad genocide is a massacre. Butt, just to be clear, aang and gyatso is the only reference we have in that generation. Gyatso had comet infused fire bender corpses around him, corpses. He fought all those soldiers at the height of their power. And aang easily wins any battle with witts and ingenuity. You telling me those 2 who came from that culture and no one else knew how to fight? It's already proven in the lost adventure that the air nomads weren't wiped out in that single attack, some of them hid and were exposed. Some of them cut ties and had descendants to the earth kingdom reawakend by harmonic convergence.
