It turned out beautiful! I have had a rough two years. Three pieces - a coffee table, a coffee/tea center and a buffet has been sitting in my dinning room for a year. Wow!! Another beautiful flip and yes I think you can sell it!! It looks beautiful. As long as your description of the table includes faux marble inserts, I think it's fine. I for sure would buy that for a coffee table. It looks very beachy and would fit in anyone's home who has decorated for summertime or has a monochromatic decorating scheme. Think how beautiful it would look on a covered front porch of a summer cottage at a lake. And of course...THE MUSIC!!! Have a good time off and see you when you get back! Hugs...
I had a pastry and a latte at a darling French patisserie in my neighborhood yesterday and this lovely lady would have fit in perfectly with all of their cozy chairs and tables tucked into the corners. She’s lovely! Also, as a toddler mom I love the peel and stick faux marble…and it’s WAY more stain resistant than the real thing. 😊

Ok, Andy, here’s my take on this coffee table! First off, you did an amazing job of making it look beautiful. You truly are an artist with such talent that I’m always impressed and inspired. While this piece is not for me, it definitely deserves a new home. I’m sure that there is someone out there who will fall in love with it! Probably more than a few. It’s a great starter piece for anyone looking to get a new coffee table. From here, the top looks so amazing! Donating it to Habitat for Humanity is a great idea and I’m sure it will get scooped up immediately! I have to say, I don’t feel I could sell it. And, it’s not because it’s not well done. I think your hesitation is also mine. Does that make me a snob? No, not at all! It’s a coffee table for a person starting out. It’s a very beautiful piece that I feel looks new. I papered a large wall in my office with peel and stick paper from “Rifle Paper Co.” and it looks amazing. Enough said (hahaha) the pool looks amazing. I’m a little shocked that Drea is not wearing a bathing cap. 😂

This table too! Are you just looking at my family furniture and planning your fables? First my grandmother’s chair and now a coffee table that is a sibling to my leather inlay side table.💜That leather is hard to clean but I’ve found that leather cleaning products work better. Enjoy your time off!!

On a college budget, I used contact paper where you used the marble paper. Happily, it lasted through graduation 🙂 Love the braids. See you in the Fall.

I think the reason you feel weird about the peel and stick wallpaper is because it is on the used surface and not used as an accent, like the back of a cabinet, etc. It looks great!

I had an end table with a damaged leather like this tables. It was mahogany and very red. I did a white wash with a smidge of green in it to counter the red. I used decoupage paper on the inset and sealed it with a tough coat product. I did not know about this counter top paper. It would have been a great thing to use.
Hi Andy wow you never disappoint even this really used weird leather top piece you have managed to completely renew giving it a completely new look I really like it , I totally get your feeling of to sell or not to sell , I'd feel the same there's just something about a paper top coffee table even though decoupage is paper too and I wouldn't feel weird about that at all, stil though I think you could list it to cover cost or donate ether way someone will need this piece besides you are a creator regardless of the methods used, and are always nonest about what an how you do, love seeing Drea, and how I wish it was that warm here ,it's winter at the moment and freezing as in -1 over night and the warmth of the sun feels like a distant memory now😪 take care look after you, all the best Mary in Australia 🌻😊

This table was an interesting admix of styles: federal stamped/gilded leather, country French legs, Italian trim. Your aesthetic choices are superlative, like your refinishing skills. The table looks remarkably better whitewashed with its marble-like top. Excellent work...I also enjoyed your introduction channeling '30s and '40s character actresses like Margaret Dumont. (She was the foil in many of the Marx Brothers movies...aristocratic matronly types although not usually dipsomaniacal...you're likely too young to remember.)

Drea was exceptionally funny today, her tip about the stroke which allows for surveying and judging her surroundings was superb; why I use it. At the same time one's own figure flaws are hidden. I believe that it should be able to stand up to coffee table, wear and tear, since it is supposed to be durable enough for kitchen counters. I don’t see any reason not to sell it. I love your videos. Wow, I was surprised when you went the wallpaper route...I thought for sure you were going to do a stencil...but I really dig the final result. It’s beautiful! I love the white wash look. I must say I’m a little disappointed that you didn’t refinish the leather. I have a leather top table that needs a makeover, too, but mine is oval, and the leather piece is a big oval. I don’t think I have the skill to get peel and stick cut right, lol.

I think the reason you feel weird about the peel and stick wallpaper is because it is on the used surface and not used as an accent, like the back of a cabinet, etc. It looks great!

I had an end table with a damaged leather like this tables. It was mahogany and very red. I did a white wash with a smidge of green in it to counter the red. I used decoupage paper on the inset and sealed it with a tough coat product. I did not know about this counter top paper. It would have been a great thing to use.

Hi Andy wow you never disappoint even this really used weird leather top piece you have managed to completely renew giving it a completely new look I really like it , I totally get your feeling of to sell or not to sell , I'd feel the same there's just something about a paper top coffee table even though decoupage is paper too and I wouldn't feel weird about that at all, stil though I think you could list it to cover cost or donate ether way someone will need this piece besides you are a creator regardless of the methods used, and are always nonest about what an how you do, love seeing Drea, and how I wish it was that warm here ,it's winter at the moment and freezing as in -1 over night and the warmth of the sun feels like a distant memory now😪 take care look after you, all the best Mary in Australia 🌻😊

This table was an interesting admix of styles: federal stamped/gilded leather, country French legs, Italian trim. Your aesthetic choices are superlative, like your refinishing skills. The table looks remarkably better whitewashed with its marble-like top. Excellent work...I also enjoyed your introduction channeling '30s and '40s character actresses like Margaret Dumont. (She was the foil in many of the Marx Brothers movies...aristocratic matronly types although not usually dipsomaniacal...you're likely too young to remember.)

Drea was exceptionally funny today, her tip about the stroke which allows for surveying and judging her surroundings was superb; why I use it. At the same time one's own figure flaws are hidden. Not that I have any. Anyway, sell the table! Advertise it as having extra special built in coasters! Hand applied! Don't you have children to put through college?

Hi Andy, I think the coffee table is beautiful! I was actually looking into buying some marble, looking stick on paper for my kitchen. I believe that it should be able to stand up to coffee table, wear and tear, since it is supposed to be durable enough for kitchen counters. I don’t see any reason not to sell it. I love your videos. Wow, I was surprised when you went the wallpaper route...I thought for sure you were going to do a stencil...but I really dig the final result. It would make a wonderful piece for someone with champagne taste on a beer budget. Loved the review at the end of all the pieces you've done this season, can't pick a favorite, they were all amazing! Transfers are basically peel and stick! They are very expensive and increase the appeal of the piece

It’s beautiful! I love the white wash look. I must say I’m a little disappointed that you didn’t refinish the leather. I have a leather top table that needs a makeover, too, but mine is oval, and the leather piece is a big oval. I don’t think I have the skill to get peel and stick cut right, lol.
