I did my graduation from Allahabad University . Regarding the history of bomb cult in Allahabad it was first not with student the making of Bomb material was mostly with people who were in business of crackers though it was not used by them as a bomb to attack or use for criminal purpose . In past two community in a locality of Allahabad had a dispute regarding a land , one community used hand made bomb the other community did not have the method to make hand made bomb. They thought to fight with their enemy they should learn how to make hand bomb and they got the method to make bomb and soon this method of hand bomb soon find way into the criminal populace of the city . The first sensational murdered by hand made bomb was of Bhola Pahalwan . This as was talk of the locals that the culprit was from Kolkatta . This murder showed to criminal that hand made bomb can be used more easily than pistol to murder anyone . Soon this hand made bomb went to students at Intermediate level and soon it became a part of criminals and students lobby . Though Allahabad hand made bomb have traces of its during British period . The students used hand made bomb not for criminal purpose . The history sheeter used it for criminal purpose . As to my knowledge the students at Allahabad never used hand made bond for criminal purpose . During our time the political party interference was less at our time but later political parties influenced and divided the student federation foe their gain and many democratic concept of student federation and aim and unity was bargained by political parties . As JNU dominated by leftist or communist thought but Allahabad University is still has varied thoughts in line with nationalistic thought . The Allahabad student federation has never done anything again nation . No ever slogans ever raised here against nation or nationalistic approach . This nationalistic approach of student at Allahabad make this University as distinct from other university of India .
