Got the Cuisinart CBK 200 for 117 bucks from Wayfair. Amazon is retailing it for 129.99
It seems to tell some secrets not to make burns on bread. It's way more significant than reducing the time to make one.

A CAUTION WITH BREAD MAKERS: I don't know if the very expensive ones are any better, but I find a common problem among the machines: The bread pan's paddle-spindle and/or its bearings are in a humid, hot environmtne during use. If not made from steel that is highly resistant to rust, they gradually rust together, If you bake bread once a week, you may find after a couple of years, they lock up. This is especially true if one removes the paddle from the spindle before the last rise in order to avoid the paddle recess in the bottom of the loaf. My solution to the rust problem is not to bake in the machine. Before the last rise, transfer the dough to a baking loaf-pan. Let it rise in the oven away from cold drafts for about an hour, then bake it for about 40-45 minutes at 350-375F. Never bake in the bread machine. Use it only for mixing and kneading. A new pan will cost you $40-$50.
A cheap machine, under $80. with a good, heavy, 500W motor, used just for its computer and its labor-saving motor, is a kitchen asset. Just don't bake in it !

How do you use shots of breads that weren’t possibly made in these bread makers and expect any credibility?
There is no reason why a machine should be limited to two pound loaves. The best machine I had years ago made a 2.5 lb loaf, the Black & Decker, no longer made. No mention is made of the orientation of the pan, horizontal or vertical. Vertical is better! Only one paddle, and uniform slices - good for sandwiches. I believe a Hamilton Beach is sold for less than $60. and has a vertical pan.
Since homemade breads get moldy quite fast, its better to make batches of bread than one big ass one. Also, people need counter space to handle such large loads
This video is chock full of images of breads that were clearly not made in a bread machine.

Reallllly poor review, every loaf shown was baked in an oven, not the bread maker. This so called review doesn't help me in choosing a machine as I cannot see how the crusts are on the sides indicating any lack of heat or over heated spots.
Really irritating creaking voice, stop it.
