John Cage: ASLAP - as slow as possible

Der längste Ton dauert 58 Jahre: In Halberstadt wird seit 2001 das Orgelstück „Organ2 / ASLSP" von John Cage aufgeführt - „as slow as possible", so langsam wie möglich. Die John-Cage-Orgel-Stiftung hat daraus 639 Jahre gemacht und da der nächste Klangwechsel erst 2010 sein wird, hören die Besucher in der Burchardikirche seit Anfang 2009 einen Dauerton. Was zuerst als kuriose Idee erscheint, entpuppt sich schnell als beeindruckendes Kunstprojekt mit nachhaltiger Wirkung.

Schade, dass die John-Cage-Orgel-Stiftung keinen link zu www.as-fast-slow-as-possible.de gesetzt hat, so dass niemand weiss, dass es in Halberstadt die gleichnamige bluray disc zu kaufen gibt.
