Ah, so thematically, Buck is Diego's _foil_ since Diego ultimately hits on the fact that he's always belonged in the herd and to the herd, whilst Buck chooses the carefree adventurer life down in the Lost World. Interesting (also this video is false advertising since it's about IA3 and not IA1 but I'm glad I saw this BTS stuff for DoTD. :))

Simon Pegg is him again in ice age five and Buck Wild and he even played him as a cameo in ice age 4
